Buying something as expensive and important as a house virtually seemed nuts. But as the new year began we started getting the urge to just take a look. Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. He was always trying innovative techniques to help us stand out amongst other buyers and that's exactly what it takes these days. He's continued to be invaluable after closing. He was great to bounce ideas around with about updating the house after moving in and he and Heather have been great with recommendations. He is always super responsive and I'm so glad I can still rely on him even after we've closed.

From getting us in to see the house of our dreams at the drop of a hat before it hit the market, to writing the strongest Purchase Agreement possible for us in this extremely competitive market, to getting all the inspections scheduled and completed for us while we were on a long road trip, to every little question we had along the way, to the closing itself, which was a breeze and only took 20 minutes. Recommendation for Zac Bidelman/Keller Williams Preferred Realtor/Huerkamp Home Group…read more I first met Zac Bildelman after inquiring about a property that I was interested in. He made an appointment and showed me the property that same day. My first impression was that he was knowledgeable and able to answer my questions readily. I realized over time that because of all his additional attributes (Professional, always responsive, and very patient), he was the perfect realtor. It had been over 30 years since my husband, and I had previously scoured the cities in search of that one perfect realtor to help us find the house that was perfect for us at that time. Zac Bidelman patiently spent at least two years showing me various properties. He quickly fine-tuned the amenities that I was in search of until it basically came down to 3 or 4 properties. Once the perfect location came on the market, he helped me create an offer that he presented immediately. His quick action was the sole reason that I was able to buy the property that was perfectly suited to me. The second phase of my quest was to subsequently sell my house. During that process Zac assisted me with the preparations of getting the house we built 33 years prior ready for sale. His company hired an inspector and then advised me how to prioritize what to repair from the inspector's list. Zac had a "Stager" available to me who helped me get the house aesthetically ready to be viewed. The professional photographer that he used took exceptional photographs that helped present my house in the best possible light. This also included drone shots which helped highlight the fabulous view from and around my home. Regarding setting the sales price of my house, he listened to my input of what I felt the price should be set at - given that I knew my property and adjacent locations so well after living in the house for over three decades. Because of his skills as a realtor, my home sold in one day. For any and all of the above-stated reasons, I wholeheartedly recommend Zac Bidelman and his very accomplished assistants and team. Zac's contact info is as follows: (612) 712-9936 zac@hhgus.com

UPDATE (approximately 1.5 years later): We recently used Cari Ann Carter again for the purchase of a lot. This was a bit spontaneous and Cari Ann is a pit bull when it comes to advocating for you. We were able to put in an offer Sunday, get a counteroffer Monday and secure the property on Tuesday. She was INSTRUMENTAL in making this happen quickly and is the best negotiator ever! She set reasonable expectations for us, which we really appreciated, and was very open in feedback along the entire way. More importantly, she is a DO-er! We didn't have a ton of money to spend and I know that means not a lot of pay from a realtor stand point. Who would want to work with us? Well Erica was the perfect match! She offered no stress showings. Not once did I feel like I HAD to purchase a home and not once did I feel like I was being pushed to spend more money than I wanted. She was flexible with when she would allow us to look at home and when she was able to answer questions. I feel like even though we were looking at small prices homes we got a large price realtor. We ended up being able to look at a couple of homes one day as a sort of pre market option (the market in the twin cities is really going crazy right now and homes are selling fast).
