Took a while to get a table, get the table cleaned off and get a menu due to being under staffed. Once the waitress came to our table everything was wonderful. Very kind, helpful, knowledgeable server. Our food came out quickly and perfectly. We both ordered the skillet. It was incredible. One of the best breakfast dishes I've had in a long time. Well prepared, delicious ingredients to make an incredibly delightful dish. The breakfast skillet was so good. The hashbrowns were perfectly cooked. The sausage gravy was flavorful and delicious. The bacon was crisp and was the perfect flavor addition. My eggs were cooked perfectly (I asked for basted-they were perfect!) Everything was incredible. The biscuits were so good. A little underdone but perhaps the was on purpose? They were really good. My son added pancakes to his order. They looked a little overly done, but tasted good. Portion size was huge. Ambiance was very mom and pop shop---very close quarters. Only one small restroom. Great restaurant with excellent food!!! Just know what you're getting into. Probably not very handicapped accessible due to stairs and small restroom and tight quarters, but delicious food with kind waitstaff. Go for the food, not the ambience.

Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Highly recommended.

The atmosphere was charming, the décor was exactly what we were hoping for, and the menu felt genuinely true to British cuisine rather than a themed interpretation. Unfortunately, our visit took place on a colder day, and the large garage-style door connecting to the outdoor seating area was left open. As a result, the entire restaurant felt quite cold throughout our meal. Since we were dining with our infant son, this made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience and was our biggest disappointment of the evening. In fact, it was cold enough that we kept our coats on throughout dinner, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the atmosphere the restaurant had worked so hard to create. We also ordered the fish and chips. The quality of the fish was very good, and it was clearly prepared with care. However, the portion size left something to be desired. The meal included only one medium-sized piece of fish, which felt small for a dinner entrée, especially considering the price point. While the food itself was enjoyable, we were hoping for a more substantial serving. Despite these issues, The Last Queen delivered on atmosphere, authenticity, and food quality. I would be willing to give it another try, particularly during warmer weather, as I believe the temperature and comfort level had a significant impact on our overall experience.

Half a dozen beers on tap, full bar, Coke soft drinks. Great food and huge portions. The prices seem high, but that $18 burger is eight slamming ounces of meat, so it's like two standard burgers. We split the Reuben which was also enormous and quite satisfying. The grilled marble rye was glorious. They were waiting for a fresh batch of chips to finish so they were delivered separately from the sandwich. They gave us a giant bowlful. Not sure if you always get that many chips with your handheld. We also shared the Bavarian pretzel as an app, absolutely worth the $10. Thick, soft, steamy and perfectly salty. The coarse mustard was perfect! They also offer two dessert items. My husband got the warm chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream. Sweet and decadent and a lovely presentation too. Service was excellent, attentive and friendly. There's a parking lot in the rear and it was tricky to find the way into it. The building next door (owned by this establishment) is being demolished for a future expansion so it looks a little scary from back there. Also some street parking. Both front and rear entrances have steps with solid dual handrails, but there is no wheelchair access that I could see. There's outdoor seating on decks in front and it annoyed me to see multiple signs forbidding smoking or even vaping. This is outside in the open air, uncovered, not near the door. Would definitely return especially now that we know the secret entrance to the parking lot.

We had dinner here last night and it was great! We both had the turkey Reuben sandwiches. Thick, juicy turkey with a ton of sauerkraut and a delicious dressing! It came with chips that thick & crispy. Nice! I had a cold red ale to wash it down too. And the price was more than fair! The place was clean, staff were very friendly and very fast! (Not like the old days) And I paid with plastic! (Again, not like the old days.) We liked it. Food was great, came out fast, price was fair, place was clean - what more could you ask for! Then a few nights ago we enjoyed their food at the Diced in Dayton charity event and loved it so much, we voted for them to win! Also that dish is what got us to drive from Springboro to finally check out their restaurant. We were greeted as we walked in and told the menu board was on the wall to our left and then we could order at the counter. (I have to say the flipping around the screen for you to add a tip is maddening when we got our own drinks from the cooler, seated ourselves, the napkins and silverware were in a container on the table. The only actual service was someone walking our food out to us. End rant.) The restaurant is bigger than the photos look online. We ate inside but they also have a nice patio. We split the wonton nachos and the drip burger, the kitchen cut the burger in two and brought it out on two trays, which was nice. Both were very tasty! We actually couldn't finish the nachos but kept picking at it after we were "done" because it was so good. And they had Fresca which was a blast from the past! I'm sure we'll be back soon and try some of the other dishes.

The restaurant wasn't busy, so we were seated right away. If this restaurant were in the Bay Area, I have no doubt it would be incredibly popular!

Its sleek lines and modern structure stand out among the modest buildings that surround it. Every inch of its interior and exterior are detailed in lavish sophistication. We stayed in the Spa Suite- a beautiful, spacious room with a deep soaking tub perfect for relaxing. Snacks, drinks and card games are within easy reach, tempting you from their station on the oversized desk (for a charge, of course). We skipped slipping into our robes and ordering room service and went down to the hotel bar instead. The bar offers a number of handcrafted cocktails, I was so conflicted about which to order that I told the bartender I would just go down the list- and she happily obliged. Dinner hadn't quite started yet so we ordered food from a limited lunch menu and made friends with the bar patrons. After all, it's still a small town and everyone around is incredibly friendly. Unfortunately, due to my overly enthusiastic cocktail buffet, I didn't make it to dinner. Luckily, I had a gorgeous room to stumble back to, and when I woke up, the minibar snacks and drinks truly saved my night. I absolutely think you get great value for the price of a stay here. You get the sophistication of a luxury hotel without the steep price and pretentiousness that you'd find at a similar hotel in a bigger city. I can't wait to return!
