To preface, I understand that when I choose a restaurant that is dine in, it will take longer. However, 50 minutes to get my food was insanity. Making simple breakfast items was turned into an almost hour long affair. Not to mention my drink never got refilled. So now, I was hungry and dehydrated. Great, first you've denied me my human right of food, and now I've been denied water. However, I wasn't the only one who was forced to lower their standards. The poor couple next to me were so parched, their dehydration was beginning to set in. I talking about Sahara Desert level of dry. I also understand that this is in no way at fault of my server. On the contrary, a heads up would've been ideal. So, if you're in the mood for wasting time and have your calendar cleared for the next century, Bob Evans is the place for you. read more

We ate here this morning and lets talk positives first. Our waitress, Justice, was very good and friendly. Her service was great. The food was good and we like Bob Evans a lot but it wasn't as good as usual. The bad, and the big reason we didn't leave a good review, was the cleanliness. We have never been to a Bob Evans that was so unclean. We know that things aren't always perfect but this was really bad. This restaurant needs to shut down and do a total cleaning for a week and get a manager that gets things in shape. See the pics, and see that the wallpaper by our table had coffee and food stains that look like they have been there for quite a long time. Then the table, which was 'cleaned' before we arrived was a little sticky. So one of the 5 of us had some wet wipes and she wiped the table...please see the pics...horrendous. That table was so dirty and there was syrup on the edge of the table that 2 of us got on our clothes. Syrup was on the seat as well and got on our pants. But the real big thing was how dirty the table was, where we put our utensils etc. It was disgusting. read more

Went here for a good first impression, was left highly unimpressed. The waitress made us move from a booth to a table with an empty house because the child's high chair. Was told there wasn't enough food for a certain meal and then there was enough. Was asked 3 times about what sides we ordered, usually waitresses have notepads. The food was Luke warm and bland (chicken fried steak). Also on the silverware there was crud on every piece. Highly unimpressed and would consider a change of management. Great selection of food, reasonable prices and excellent food. Ourparty of nine were all pleased with their food. Will definitely go back.

Everything is just what you would hope for here!! It's a very clean place, with an extremely nice staff-they went above and beyond with refills and stopping by to see if we needed anything. The banana bread here is great and comes with any breakfast meal!! When on a trip we are here 3 times-twice for breakfast and one time for dinner and could not have been happier! We stayed at s hotel near by, and we were glad to have such a great place close by. Don't overlook this gem if you are in this area!! read more

Family of 9, service was excellent! The food was plentiful, delicious and reasonably priced.

We stoped here for breakfast in our way to a baseball game. Our server, Sharon, was awesome. She kept our drinks topped off, kept us updated on our order status when the kitchen was a little backed up, brought us extra butter and syrup, and when I asked for sour cream for my omelet, she offered me salsa as well. She also offered a to-go cup of coffee. As always, the food and atmosphere were typical Bob Evans, good overall. But the service here was really excellent. read more

This Bob Evans location is very clean and well cared for. Cathy, our server was very pleasent and attentive. We stay in St Clairsville when we are attending the annual vintage boat regatta in Wheeling, WV. The food was very good and filling. Overall, a very nice experience. read more

This is a place we always eat when traveling across the country. We always get great service with friendly staff. Plenty of good food choices and it's served hot and quickly. I had the Fit breakfast for dinner and my husband had the pot pie, and both were delicious. read more

Got half cooked rolls and got the wrong drink brought to me twice but overall the soul was great and so was my main course

Me and my family came in the morning expecting a delicious breakfast to have an enjoyable time, but sadly I was let down. I asked for whipped cream on my hot chocolate and I didn't get it and then I asked my waiter about it and she did not fix it. Then for some odd reason my sisters apple juice came out as orange juice, this also was not fixed. Our food was sitting at the counter for 30 minutes before we got it, and when we got it was freezing cold. To add onto the coldness of our food the orders were not even correct. Just shared a wonderful meal here with a few family members. The food was very tasty, and the service was exceptional. After a printer error caused a slight delay in us receiving our food, the staff were very apologetic and accommodating. Their kindness was greatly appreciated, created an enjoyable dining experience, and is representative of excellent management and business practice. I gave this location 2 stars because of the friendly server and for the food being delivered as ordered, otherwise the rest of the experience was forgettable. We waited at least 10 minutes to be seated and another 5 for the server to appear. Many of the tables remained dirty with dishes/plates from the previous diners. We just talked to the mgr and she informed us that Bob Evans doesn't employ busboys as a mgt decision, which means they expect the servers themselves to bus the tables! Wrong decision Bob Evans! Surprise! Your server who is bringing your food just bussed a dirty table. Hope she cleaned her hands first. Needless to say, this will be our last trip here! read more

40 minutes so far for a carry out order in a place that isn't busy. All the servers know you are here but refuse to make contact. Wow!

The food and the service are OK; but if you are looking for a pleasant and quiet meal, skip this place. The place is always full with screaming kids. The parents don't even *try* to settle them down so others can enjoy their meal. I mentioned this to the local management and they didn't care. I called the corporate offices and they didn't care. The kids are not at fault, they are kids. The problem is with the parents that don't take care of them and the management of Bob Evans that doesn't care about ensuring a pleasant dining experience for *everyone* !!! read more
