Pretty decent for highly shared wifi. Order 1 (mine): Custom Omlette with ham, lots of cheese and bacon. Approx. 8 bucks. Very good. Much much better then the south side parkersburg,wv location! We recently started coming to this restaurant again about 6 months ago. Today we received the worst service ever. The other person with me received wrong food... Twice! And what I ordered wasn't correct either. The person did correct the price for the twice incorrect food that was never corrected at the counter. We both ordered pancakes as part of our meal. Only 1 syrup each. Obviously this person is new. Obviously this person wasn't trained correctly. The server was very nice, just messed stuff up. And for a 38 dollar restaurant bill, you need to do a lot better! read more

I came in for breakfast. The food was sub par ar best. Eggs were not cooked well, bacon was under cooked and French toast was flavorless. The server was ok but wait time was super long. Food also came out at separate times causing thing to be cold. The place was clean and well kept. Overall not good... coffee taste burnt too. read more

Ok. It tasted good. But if I ask what has chicken noodle soup because I feel awful, and i barely get enough broth (which is what I wanted and lead to believe what I was getting), I'm not going to be satisfied. Sorry, not sorry. Tell me chicken noodle soup, means broth. read more

The service was good a lovely red headed young woman was our server. She was pleasant and quick to handle any problem we had. The honey biscuit chicken dinner I had tho, could've worked part time as a basketball it was so rubbery. The sides were good enough, but not the quality of food I remember. Haven't been for their breakfast, but I bet it is better than their dinner. The decorations are very barn chic, they sell shirts and some of their food such a banana bread. They sold candy around the registers. I would probably go back for breakfast just to try it. But I doubt I would go back for dinner. read more

I was reminded why I no longer come here very often. First, I waited at the hostess station for five minutes before being seated. A full 40 minutes after I arrived, my meal arrived. While most of the breakfast was OK, I asked for crispy hash browns, but what I received was barely warmed through. Grossly understaffed both out front and in the kitchen. This place deserves a ZERO! The GM was barking orders at everyone, stressing her workers out and making the whole experience very uncomfortable and unenjoyable. Not sure if due to COVID or her stressing her employees out but the food sucked and bland. The GM brought us our food, looked up above and past us as she rudely threw our food on the table and said nothing. Our waitress wasn't even pleasant and only came to our table once after the food was placed and left us with not being able to ask for things we needed til 3/4 way thru our meal and our drinks sat empty the whole time. This was one of the worst experiences dining we've ever had. The GM is doing that place no favors. She's gonna cause high turn overs and by stressing out employees they in turn cause bad customer service. Terrible service. Walked in to get my pick up order and stood there and watched people behind counter not doing much, look and see me, still go back to what they are doing, which again isn't much. Finally, a guy who was one of the ones saw me, decides to help me. Starts getting my order, but realizes the soups weren't in the bag (gave Bobs plenty of time to get the order together). So rings me up, I pay as he goes to get soups and comes back to tell me that they are out of one of the soups. Asks if I would like another, tell him no, and he pushes that I've already paid for it. No stars if I could. I ordered their new deli sandwich Bc it had tomato mayo which sounded good. Instead of telling me they didn't have any, they just didn't put any on. So the sandwich had about half a soggy onion on it, four inches of lettuce, 1 tomato and one tiny tore up piece of turkey. It was DISGUSTING. They offered to make the sandwich again (the manager asked how it was so I explained) she couldn't care less. I declined another one bc I ordered it for the new flavor of the mayo, which they didn't have. She's like ok. Gone. So annoyed. I will not be back. We went out to breakfast for the first time since COVID-19. We decided to try it on a weekday but were hesitant when we saw two small groups waiting outside. I called the restaurant and we opted to wait in our car for our turn to enter the restaurant. When we came inside, I was comforted by the cleanliness of the restaurant and how spread apart the guests were. The employees were wearing masks, the menus were paper disposable type, and there were no condiments on the tables. I overheard a server ask her guest if she wanted a sanitized bottle of ketchup. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and by the way, even my bacon was prepared extra crispy just as I requested it. Very nice and clean. Ordered our favorite turkey dinner. Always love the turkey and was not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly.

Worst service in recent memory. She didn't even try. Food was barely edible. Witnessed a waitress wipe a to go container with her finger, lick her finger, and then wipe the container again. Waitresses were bickering and kitchen could not keep up the handful of tables that were filled. We will never return. Ownership needs to visit this location fast. read more

Bob Evans what's going on with you? You used to be so good! You got rid of our favorite salad and omelette. The last several times we've been waited on by a lady named Brandy who speaks to us in baby talk. Hello!!! We are adults not toddlers. We would have been insulted but realized that's how she talked to all her tables. The place was not very busy but our waitress was more focused on her conversation with another server complaining about working of all things right in front of us. The food we ordered came out fairly quick brought to us by the manager who was friendly enough but he forgot our bread and salads. He got them right away. Did have to ask a passing waitress to get our check when we were finished. All in all, food was good but service very lacking. The hostess needs more training. We checked in, took our name, then we waited to be called. Didn't take long, just a few minutes. When escorted to our table it was a two seater in the center of a busy serving Isle. We ask if we could wait for anther table, one that wouldn't make us the center attraction. I ate here in winter of 2017, and not sure exactly what I ordered, I think it was the turkey dinner, but it made me sick as a dog. And irony is, my wife ate there the day before on a to go order, and she was sick also. If we both hadn't gotten sick after visiting the same restaurant I don't know that we would have made the connection it was Bob Evans. So, it was definitely something in the food at Bob Evans. I was puking every day for like a week with a pounding headache that was so severe I went to Med Express and they told me to go to the hospital; not wanting to spend the money on ER I then went to Quick Care, they also sent me to the ER --so Marietta Memorial took care of me but then sent me a bill for $2500. I sent the bill to the CEO of Bob Evans, some guy with a Muslim sounding name, and they refused to pay it. Bob Evans food is outstanding, but I just read another review on tripadvisor someone puking their guts up from the bean soup. Again, love their food, but my visits are now few and far between. The cooks get low pay so perhaps they are taking it out on the customers. If you're risk taker, get the goat cheese omelet, it's good. read more

I had my worst experience with Bob Evans and it happened in Marietta. The place looked busy, but we did not have to wait to be seated. We sat for 10 minutes before any beverages were offered. We placed our beverage orders as well as food orders. We got our beverages a few minutes later. A full 30 minutes later, we had not been served food or an offer on refill of beverages. In fact, no interaction at all with service. 35 minutes in, one order of food arrived but with apologies that the other order never made it to the kitchen. We got full apologies from management and an offer for me to get biscuits and gravy for free, along with no bill at all for our check. I stated that if I had wanted biscuits and gravy, I would have ordered biscuits and gravy. After several times of telling them that I wanted nothing, they still brought my order (now 45 minutes later) in a to go bag. Since it had an over easy egg and guacamole on it, I knew it wouldn't keep over time. In the mean time, my wife was not happy with her skillet order (she got toast with it, but no jelly or jam was ever brought to the table) and the gravy was off in taste. Way too much gravy as well. She ate a few bites and we left. Nearly an hour wasted and the worst service we have ever encountered. The people were nice, but nice doesn't cover timely service, delivery of food ordered or quality of food and service. I will never go back to the Marietta Bob Evans. We got there around 9:30 am on a Friday. We saw other tables waiting for beverage service and getting the check. One table with about 8 people got tired of waiting on their check that they got up and walked to the counter and demanded to pay and leave. My thought was at least they got their food. I saw an older gentleman with a Veteran hat that sat and waited for coffee for at least 20 minutes. Stay away unless it is a last resort. read more
