The service is terrible. So many open table, tables that have not been cleaned to seat customers. Staff is standing behind the counter talking. Playing on phones while people are waiting to be seated. 30 minutes to be seated and there are very few people here. I have always enjoyed Bob Evans food. And service. But this is terrible. read more

Sorry, no pictures. We ordered a pick up of the two piece grilled chicken, dinner, green beans, mashed potatoes, and rolls. We were in such a hurry as we had additional appointments to head to that this worked out conveniently for us . The staff was friendly and courteous to us, as well as timely and getting our food ready. It was absolutely delicious would go back again and would recommend it highly! read more

unexpectedly received outstanding service by a young woman named kaila. she helped my elderly mother find something on the menu. followed up just the right amount. unfortunately, bob evans isn't a place for vegetarians. extremely limited options. read more

We enjoy eating at Bob Evans for Family Dinners & usually take home an apple pie or a loaf of Banana nut bread; sometimes both!!!! Their Apple pies are THE BEST!!!! read more

It really depends on who is working that day whether your food is good or not. I've had great experiences with the food I've ordered and awful ones as well. Overall though they do have good food and I recommend read more

The food is good when sitting down to eat however sometimes the food has a strange taste to it. Mostly the sauces have this problem so if you eat things with sauces you may have a problem. Other than that the food is usually great and the place is very lively which can be nice sometimes. The takeout is pretty bad though, the food always looks bad when it's takeout. Still almost tastes the same so you should be fine. Highly recommend to take 2+ people when eating here. read more

Anyone who is ordering takeout BEWARE. Let me just say that when you're greeted and say you ordered online and the lady in front says "you mean the huge breakfast" which in reality was only 3 different breakfasts. That's not very welcoming. We got our order headed home and started eating when my boyfriend found a huge long hair that was intertwined in his scrambled eggs. Ewwww gross right. Sorry if this grosses anyone out. read more

Bob Evans - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - New Martinsville, West Virginia

What happened to Bob Evans?... everything I ordered was burnt, dry, and poor presentation. I have no idea what is in that sauce that they're calling hollandaise... but it wasn't that. Will not be returning. read more

The food was really good, once I got the correct soup. I ordered the 1/2 ham & Swiss sandwich & potato soup. The server wrote down tomato, which is an easy mistake. However, when she brought my meal, she basically tossed it on the table and quickly walked away. My tea glass was empty and she never offered or brought a refill. She finally came back to take another customer's order and I notified her of the error & asked for tea. If the service would have been good, I would rate a 5. read more

OK placed to have breakfast coffee refill was cold waitress was waitress was somewhat piffy. Place to stop off if there's anything else to go to better places in the area hopefully. read more

Once a good place to come an have a good meal, since the restaurant business was sold off its slowly gone downhill. Now days you never no how the food and service maybe. Sad. read more

It's hit and miss. Some of the wait staff is fantastic. Some not so much. The food is decent for the prices. I just wish they would keep their cod on the menu year around. So good! read more

Service was excellent! I have always gotten good food . Today I ordered the Chicken Salad Plate. Looked awesome in the menu. This was an 9.00 dollar meal, so when it came I believe I may have had 2 Tablespoons of chicken salad on the plate. Served with two rolls. Let one roll because had nothing to put on it. For this amount of money it was not worth it. I don't eat out often so was really disappointed! I realize the price of food has gone up, but I would have given my guest more than that! Will not be going back anytime soon! I will also be telling people if they ask . read more

The past couple months I have stopped on Monday after work in the evening to pick up carry out. I usually order potato crusted fish with broccoli and onion peels. I specify how I want it made and every time it is consistent. It tastes fresh, prepared for the recommended time, and made with effort. This is my favorite Bob Evans. I've been to others in WV and OH and none of them compare to what I received from this Bob Evans. I feel the Monday evening chef needs a pat on the back because he's doing a fine job. I recommend this restaurant. read more

Well we waited a half hour for carry out food while 9 waitresses serve few tables. When we asked the manager why the placed seemed so disorganized, she informed us that they had recently been audited. The place serves an aging demographic but offers no senior discount? Oh, when we opened our meal, it had been "garnished" with a pile of burned black onions. Why would a cook even put them in the container. We should have audited the onions ourselves. read more

We eat here a lot, but it's sometimes hit and miss with the service and the food! The restaurant is always clean and it's normally quick getting a table, but that's where it sometimes falls apart. It seems they leave new servers on their own too soon and the cooks either don't read the order correctly or the servers do not listen well. The last five times there, the meal or meals were sent back at least three of them. Either the order wasn't cooked fully or it was burnt or missing an item. There's also a manager there that doesn't seem very professional at times. It's still a good place to eat, but double check your order with the wait staff before they leave your table. read more

Food is usually good and made correctly, but it doesn't always seem the cleanest, especially the carpet. Sometimes the booths aren't quite as clean as I would like either. read more

Bob Evans has reliably good food and service.

My wife and I just recently tried Bob Evans. We usually go with what we know and had never tried it. We are definitely impressed! Great environment, great food, and great service. They have your food out to you quicker than any place we have ever ate at. And they always have a full house. Nice spot! read more

I ate here yesterday. Kylee was awesome as a server. The western omlette had too much bell pepper in it, but was still pretty good. The service made up for what was lacking. read more

We got to the restaurant at about 8:25 in the evening. There was only one table other than us by the time we got our drinks. And after we got the drinks we were the only other table in the whole place. It took about 25 mins until we were asked our meal order which was not the waiters fault because he was running around like crazy so he wasn't just hanging out or something. Then it took another 35 mins to get our food which had sat on the window bc he had to keep yelling back to the kitchen to add things to our food that they had missed. And still when he came to the table our bacon cheeseburger came with no bacon or cheese. When he came back he apologized and got it fixed and asked us to not give him his tip because he understood how frustrating it all was. Even though we tipped him, we left a note for management on the back of out ticket with our review of the place. Very disappointing when there were 7 other people we saw pretty much ignoring anything going on and doing their jobs. read more

amazing food, amazing service.. if your in new Martinsville, wv its a must

I just had a so called breakfast) at the Bob Evans on Venture Rd. in Morgantown WV. It was BAD... the sweet tea was so strong and bitter I couldn't drink it,it reminded me of tea that was either very old or the tea bags were boiled to death! The grits were like soup,or rather broth. My peach cobbler was the ultimate disappointment. I honestly believe they simply dumped a can of peaches into a store bought pie crust, chilled it in the refrigerator and served it. It was COLD and tasteless!!! It'll be a cold in H--- before I eat anything at Bob Evans again. read more

went back again this sunday evening. thinking since I hadn't been there in a while it would be better... the food was adequate but my waitress (a small young blonde girl) was very sub par....... her hair was clear down her back and I noticed her playing with it multiple times... GROSS! read more
