Honestly, my two years in Grand Rapids would've been rough without it. Choosing Ridges of Cascade was easy. Here is the reason why.... Office Staff - Nicole and Dottie both have been absolutely amazing. The level of communication and care you provided was more than I've ever experienced anywhere else. No matter what I needed, they were always there to help in some way. From quick replies to clear and thoughtful updates about changes, road work, community events, and more -- they kept everything running smoothly and made me feel truly looked after. Maintenance Team I'm pretty sure I kept them the busiest! There were times I felt like I might've been a bit of a handful with my requests, but they always showed up with professionalism and care. The quality of work they put into maintaining the apartments really shows -- from the precise painting on walls and baseboards to clean flooring, solid cabinet hinges, rust-free fixtures, and spotless faucets. Even the thermostats looked new! Seriously, it's the best-maintained place I've ever lived in. The entire team at Ridges of Cascade does an outstanding job, and it's obvious to anyone who lives there. My only (very small) complaint is that no one ever accepted water or a cold drink from me on those hot days. Highly-recommend this place anyone looking for a nice quiet hope to live in. Today's experience at celebration cinema was not great. Our movie was set to start at 11 so we…read morearrived early to park and get concessions. We didn't realize the movie theatre doors would be locked until about 10:50am so we waited outside for another 10 minutes beforehand until we were able to get in. Once we were inside, the employee was visibly frustrated as the server was down. She informed us that she could not ring any concessions up so she offered a small boat of popcorn instead; she was certain the servers would eventually be back up... we decided to try ordering via the QR code in the theatre since she said online orders would work... well that didn't work because it never made it to them since the server was down... so we walked to the concessions area and showed our receipt to retrieve our water and popcorn bucket. As we made it back to our seats we noticed others appearing in the theatre with their popcorn boats for each person along with drinks... I guess we should have just asked for free drinks instead of paying for concessions today. What an overall bummer. On top of that, my daughters chair never heated up no matter how many times she tried pressing the button. I think we will probably steer clear of first of the day movies at studio park from here on out. I did put a complaint into the guest relations and got an AI style response offering a $10 voucher to use within 90 days. Cool but that doesn't really help with the cost of today's messy situation. They mention they can't refund fees (which - ordering online was literally the only way to pay for anything and they charge you for "convenience") ... how ironic. So $10 was their token of apology? Sorry, but I think this just further adds to the reason I don't venture to the theatre much anymore. Our grand total for 2 tickets, 2 bottles of water and a popcorn bucket was $49.62. That price would have been fine if everything was properly working but when systems are down and chairs are broken - what a bummer.

Larry was extremely unprofessional!!!…read more After filling out and paying a total of $120 in application fees Larry requested to inspect our current house where all 4 of us applicants currently lived and 1 of the applicants owned the house out right. Out of the 4 applicants 3 of us had listed the required prior rental references. Because 1 applicant was a home owner she had none. Larry didn't call any of our references (I checked with each company that we listed), but instead he requested to do an inspection of our current home? After thoroughly looking over every room, he then tried to tell us that some spackling on the wall in the kitchen was why he wouldn't rent to us because it was "damaged" -- which the home owner was always doing small renovation projects and it was NOT damaged! After we kept asking more questions about why he WOULDN'T rent to us (we had excellent credit/excellent rental history) he then tried to just convince us to get another car so we wouldn't have to move???? Which was so DAD of him to tell us to change our lifestyle since we all wanted to move to be closer to work so we could walk and bike and not drive. He then left our house in a hurry and didn't even shut the front door. After deciding not to rent from him because the entire required "inspection" was creepy and intrusive and something I've NEVER EVER experienced as a renter of 7 years, I found out that the property he was trying to rent to us wasn't even registered at the time with the City of Grand Rapids. After requesting an application fee refund since it technically wasn't a registered rental he just ignored every email and never refunded our money. When Larry saw that 1 applicant was a home owner and had no official rental history he should've called all 3 other applicants rental history references before requiring an intrusive and probably illegal inspection of our current home at the time. I am SO incredibly happy that we did NOT rent from Palmer Property LLC and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STEER CLEAR OF LARRY and his business Palmer Property Management -- he does not know what he's doing and is extremely unprofessional in every encounter we had.

Had the honor of photographing an Engagement photography session in Bridge Water Place. What…read morewonderful views of Grand Rapids and the Grand River from this building. The location where I shot was looking down the Grand River to the south and you could see most of downtown, fishermen in the river, fish on their spawning beds, the sunrise and sunset, and floor to ceiling windows with a balcony. The common area is well kept and this would be a perfect location for a Wedding or Event.

Most aspects of the building that contained my apartment was pretty high quality. They also have a facebook page to foster a community for everyone living in the building which is pretty nice. Unfortunately the apartment is not as large as advertised. The '540 sq ft' apartment I lived in was actually no larger than 450 sq ft (not sure if that is false advertising?). It was also common for the common areas to smell like wet dog. On top of that, when I moved into my apartment the key I was given did not work so I could not access the building. They also forgot to give me a key to the mailbox on the first floor. So, the physical quality of apartments are nice because they are new (albeit a little false advertising on their size). My experience moving in really wasn't that bad but the small things that happened when I moved in seemed quite unprofessional. They indicate a bit of lazy and unprofessional behavior on the management side of things.
