Honestly, my two years in Grand Rapids would've been rough without it. Choosing Ridges of Cascade was easy. Here is the reason why.... Office Staff - Nicole and Dottie both have been absolutely amazing. The level of communication and care you provided was more than I've ever experienced anywhere else. No matter what I needed, they were always there to help in some way. From quick replies to clear and thoughtful updates about changes, road work, community events, and more -- they kept everything running smoothly and made me feel truly looked after. Maintenance Team I'm pretty sure I kept them the busiest! There were times I felt like I might've been a bit of a handful with my requests, but they always showed up with professionalism and care. The quality of work they put into maintaining the apartments really shows -- from the precise painting on walls and baseboards to clean flooring, solid cabinet hinges, rust-free fixtures, and spotless faucets. Even the thermostats looked new! Seriously, it's the best-maintained place I've ever lived in. The entire team at Ridges of Cascade does an outstanding job, and it's obvious to anyone who lives there. My only (very small) complaint is that no one ever accepted water or a cold drink from me on those hot days. Highly-recommend this place anyone looking for a nice quiet hope to live in. I pleaded with her and she continued to not allow us in the restroom. I've emailed management, she needs to be trained on how to focus on the customers. I spent $10 on a movie ticket so he could use the restroom, then proceeded to pay $30 for my parking. Never go here - these employees have not beeen trained on how to care for the customers or put them first. I'm actually shocked, we've never had an experience at a celebration studio like this before. never will we ever go to this location again.

The building is beautifully maintained and they do a lot to support the community and engage the residents without being overbearing but they also enforce rules especially when safety is involved. (They did a great job during the pandemic.) The building is quite and the units are rock-solid and beautifully appointed, including in-unit laundry and great appliances. The heat is electric and it can get pricy in the winter BUT the windows open and the balconies are great (I'm on an end with a northern exposure) and it's really lovely in the summer. They have reimagined the community room and have created a lovely shared patio and grilling space. I just signed my 3rd lease-this one for 18 months. I am very happy here. The neighborhood is great and the location is fabulous. You can walk to Bridge Street Market, DeVos Performance Hall, Linear and many other restaurants and you are minutes from the interstate. There are lots of pets in this building but people are very mindful about respecting others. Icon on Bond has it all, including a coffee shop across the street and heated underground parking!.

Larry was extremely unprofessional!!!…read more After filling out and paying a total of $120 in application fees Larry requested to inspect our current house where all 4 of us applicants currently lived and 1 of the applicants owned the house out right. Out of the 4 applicants 3 of us had listed the required prior rental references. Because 1 applicant was a home owner she had none. Larry didn't call any of our references (I checked with each company that we listed), but instead he requested to do an inspection of our current home? After thoroughly looking over every room, he then tried to tell us that some spackling on the wall in the kitchen was why he wouldn't rent to us because it was "damaged" -- which the home owner was always doing small renovation projects and it was NOT damaged! After we kept asking more questions about why he WOULDN'T rent to us (we had excellent credit/excellent rental history) he then tried to just convince us to get another car so we wouldn't have to move???? Which was so DAD of him to tell us to change our lifestyle since we all wanted to move to be closer to work so we could walk and bike and not drive. He then left our house in a hurry and didn't even shut the front door. After deciding not to rent from him because the entire required "inspection" was creepy and intrusive and something I've NEVER EVER experienced as a renter of 7 years, I found out that the property he was trying to rent to us wasn't even registered at the time with the City of Grand Rapids. After requesting an application fee refund since it technically wasn't a registered rental he just ignored every email and never refunded our money. When Larry saw that 1 applicant was a home owner and had no official rental history he should've called all 3 other applicants rental history references before requiring an intrusive and probably illegal inspection of our current home at the time. I am SO incredibly happy that we did NOT rent from Palmer Property LLC and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STEER CLEAR OF LARRY and his business Palmer Property Management -- he does not know what he's doing and is extremely unprofessional in every encounter we had.

Had the honor of photographing an Engagement photography session in Bridge Water Place. What…read morewonderful views of Grand Rapids and the Grand River from this building. The location where I shot was looking down the Grand River to the south and you could see most of downtown, fishermen in the river, fish on their spawning beds, the sunrise and sunset, and floor to ceiling windows with a balcony. The common area is well kept and this would be a perfect location for a Wedding or Event.

Most aspects of the building that contained my apartment was pretty high quality. They also have a facebook page to foster a community for everyone living in the building which is pretty nice. Unfortunately the apartment is not as large as advertised. The '540 sq ft' apartment I lived in was actually no larger than 450 sq ft (not sure if that is false advertising?). It was also common for the common areas to smell like wet dog. On top of that, when I moved into my apartment the key I was given did not work so I could not access the building. They also forgot to give me a key to the mailbox on the first floor. So, the physical quality of apartments are nice because they are new (albeit a little false advertising on their size). My experience moving in really wasn't that bad but the small things that happened when I moved in seemed quite unprofessional. They indicate a bit of lazy and unprofessional behavior on the management side of things.
