Really Love their approach to make the whole experience less clinical, and more calming for the pets entering. The Vet even sat on the floor to look at him while petting him. My bill was actually super affordable when I was checking out which was astonishing. Then they even assisted me in carrying him to the car as my travel carrier is a bit flimsy and quite large so that he can be more comfortable lol. The vet assistants were also all super helpful and very professional so all around great experience for me and my little guy:-)

What a pleasant surprise! Upon check-in, the staff noticed that there was a flag on his file and told me that they were sorry for the problem we had on his previous stay. They assured me he would be well cared for, and they delivered! When I picked up Nash that night, he was happy and not traumatized in any way. Since then, Nash has become a "regular". I drop him there a few times a week for group play with the little dogs. He loves to go! The staff is friendly and they know him. We have also used them several times for boarding Nash and our two cats. What a difference a year makes! I'm glad I gave them a second chance.

After picking up our dog from their care, he came home dehydrated, extremely stressed, and had bloody stool, which he's never experienced to this degree before. He refused to eat or drink, and it was clear he hadn't been properly cared for or monitored. We understand that boarding can be stressful for some dogs, but as an animal hospital, we expected better communication and basic wellness checks--especially when a pet's behavior changes so drastically under their watch. I hope Oak View takes this as a wake-up call to improve their pet monitoring and customer communication. We won't be returning for boarding.
