I went with a step above what is considered a summer cut . In my opinion , it took off too much hair. I just know what to request on the next visit in 6 to 8 weeks. Maybe longer since the cut was shorter than what I envisioned it would be. Due to COVID 19, there are operating with curbside only. Prior to my visit here , I downloaded their app. Unfortunately, appts can't be scheduled on the app and payments aren't accepted either. Still trying to figure out the purpose of the app , but I'm sure it has it's benefits to some. I like that TDS offers a variety of services for pets and that they are conveniently located right off Hwy 11.

We lost our sweet bunny Thump last month but even the smaller pets are well taken care of when needs arise, thanks to Dr. Grimmett's exotic expertise. He was even on call and was willing to check in by text if in a difficult situation when the office was not open.

I…read moremade it very clear that this kitten was going to be housed with another Cat and I want to run whatever tests were going to need to be run to keep the other cat safe. Branchville recommended the bare minimum. I even brought up the kitten's insatiable appetite. They told me "it's fine it's just a growing kitten." When I gave my friend the kitten he immediately took it to his own vet who ran MANY tests. Turns out the kitten had worms that could've been passed to the other cat. I was very clear about what I wanted from Branchville and they dropped the ball. Luckily my friend brought the kitten to a better veterinary's office. Don't bring your animal to Branchville if you want them to be healthy.

The dr understood that I didn't want to spend a lot of money on x-rays and labs (for a 14 year old that I knew what the problem was) and just ordered some muscle relaxers and nerve meds. I was called out to go provide in disaster relief for Florida and was in a desperate need last Saturday. Sandy graciously accepted My Charlie at the eleventh hour. I was so sad to leave him but he was so happy to be there. He seemed to have remembered his visits from the past and was happy. Charlie Dog was well cared for on this vacation of his at Paws N Claws Bed and Biscuit. When I picked him up, he was his usual playful and happy self. I highly recommend Paws N Claws. Nina is considered a giant breed & is also considered a senior dog. She weighs about 132 lbs. Nina's first veterinarian at TAH was Dr. Kelly Bauuman. She was excellent. Dr. Bauuman retired this May (2026). She did a phenomenal job of treating and caring for Nina. Knowing that Dr. Bauuman was retiring soon, Nina switched to Dr. Zach Toves so that he could monitor her symptoms past Dr. Bauuman's projected retirement date at the time. Dr. Zach Toves joined Trussville Animal Hospital as a veterinarian in January of 2026. My senior, Great Dane, Nina, has been seeing Dr. Toves since his first week at TAH. Dr. Toves formed a treatment plan for Nina's extensive arthritis (back, hind legs, and hips). The treatment plan is a relatively new approach to treating arthritis. Some of the things I appreciate about Nina's care from Dr. Toves are how he discussed different treatment options and made sure I understood any risks or potential outcomes, and how he addressed difficult topics with an empathetic spirit and with what was genuinely best for Nina, my dog. Dr. Toves is always putting the patient first. Dr. Toves has given me more time with my dog, whom I cherish, and has given Nina a lot more time to enjoy life. Nina's arthritis symptoms were debilitating. Under Dr. Zach Toves' care, Nina's symptoms are minimal now. She is able to play and run as she did prior to arthritis. She is aging with grace & I am thoroughly ecstatic about the results of this relatively new treatment for arthritis.
