I knew my 10 year old would really like it, but I was surprised how much our eight year old liked it. I asked him he would like to go again, he said absolutely. They made soap, made and painted sculptures, worked with clay, water colors, drawings and collages, paper flowers, woven llamas and even had a llama visit and had ice cream at the neighboring parlor. I asked what our son would like others to know, and he said: you may not make what I made, but you'll get to do something awesome. Mrs Ross knows how to run a classroom too. I HIGHLY recommend art camps and sessions with Mrs Ross.

Our kids have attended Kidcreate for years and genuinely enjoyed the programs, which makes leaving…read morethis review particularly disappointing. The issue isn't that something went wrong. Mistakes happen. We had a significant billing issue involving several hundred dollars, along with a communication problem that Kidcreate itself acknowledged was caused by its system sending incorrect cancellation notices. What concerns me is how the situation was handled once we tried to resolve it. We reached out to Lara, the owner, explained what happened, and tried to find a reasonable solution--even offering to accept a future credit instead of a refund. Lara initially responded, but offered no resolution. Since then, repeated emails and calls have gone unanswered. I don't expect a children's program to operate without ever making a mistake. I do expect the person who owns and operates the business to communicate, show some empathy, and take responsibility when a legitimate problem arises. Our children enjoyed Kidcreate, but how a business responds when something goes wrong matters just as much as the experience when everything goes right.

We saw the setup for a wedding while we were there and it was breathtaking. The small gardens near the front are beautiful, but it's a true feat to walk (or drive) the three mile walk and to see the entirety of the gardens. There's a fun (and quite difficult) maze, a sculpture garden, many different tree and flower displays, shrub displays, and way more! We haven't had the chance to check out the farm that's on the property, but are really looking forward to it! This is a great place to spend a day with energetic kiddos, or to just lose yourself in nature for a little while. And each month something new is in bloom, so there's always new to see and do!
