The director Jess and the finance gal, Christian are prompt, professional, and friendly. The pricing is fair in regard to how expensive daycare is in general. They have an in-house kitchen/dietician/lunch lady and offer hot lunch to babies all the way up to kindergarten age. My daughter has eaten things like Spanish rice and beans and ham, or raviolis, or even chicken sausage and veggies. The snacks are healthy and tasty too. I enjoy that she gets to taste all different types of food. They have fun and educational age appropriate crafts and activities for the kids. The teachers are kind and welcoming. Miss Lasheekah and miss Olivia are my kids favorite teachers. The older children do centers or stations and are always doing something fun or educational. You can talk to staff or pay your tuition all in an app set up with the school. Tuition also covers diapers and milk . They are also allergy friendly. The children get to go outside and play often too. They have their own fenced in backyards with gardens for the kids to work on and learn . All in all, it is a clean, safe, healthy environment for children to learn and play .

The Rabbi has so many talents as a religious leader, educator, musician, scholar, and soul searcher. Some go to pray but I go to question and learn. There is a real sense of community. The Rabbi relates to everyone young and old but has a very special relationship with children. One child called Or Shalom his "Sing-a-gogue." One of the favorite activities is the Rabbi's Sing-along, story telling on Sunday. There are lots of activities, speakers, movies, Zumba, Healing Circle, etc. and an outstanding Hebrew School. Many of the students who have graduated return to volunteer as teachers' aides. Some of them become "teen cantors". Like most synagogues, Or Shalom needs more young families to join. This review is a long time coming. We love it here. Our son took a little time getting used to…read morebeing dropped off but the teachers spent time with him and allowed for a smooth transition and eased our nerves. They truly love the kids and treat each one as if they were their own. We had Ms. Christine when we started and she is a gem. The director Amanda is personable and kind. She responds promptly and answers all my/our ridiculous questions. We looked at several daycares before selecting Kindercare (there is even one that is down the road from us) and they seemed overly cartoony or sterile like an empty high school. Kindercare has a homey feel to it. You can here the kids laughing, talking like it should be. They get to spent time outside everyday sometimes 2x a day depending on the weather. It can be a little pricey (but that's childcare). They feed them breakfast, lunch and a snack and their hours are amazing 6:30am-6pm which helps when you work weird hours. Our son's current teachers are amazing as well special shout-out to Ms. Robin, Ms. Grace, Ms. Erika and Ms. Avery. They have a blast and have creative ways to engage the kids. One huge thing that stands out to me is that the staff all knows our son. Even teachers who have never had him but they all say good morning and good bye to him.
