I attempted to do this online, but was not successful. I needed it completed that day, as it was the last day of my Post Paid billing cycle. I was going from a higher plan to a lower cost plan due to a change in my financial situation. The Sales Representative, Altaf, was busy with another customer when I arrived, and politely acknowledged me. I explained my issue, and he suggested that I try the Koodo/Telus Corporate store on the second level. But, he assured me that if they refused to help me, he would do his best to assist me. He apologized as he was busy with his current customer. I thanked him and proceeded to the Koodo/Telus store. There, I was told "No, we don't do that here. You need to contact customer service (which was not helpful at all considering I had been trying to do this for several days,already). He never offered to help me in any way. I returned to the WOW outlet and waited until the Sales Representative was no longer busy and there were not any customers waiting for assistance. He was every bit good to his word. I explained to Altaf that I had already activated my SIM card, had a temporary (I hoped number) and was trying to port my long time number over to the PrePaid Plan. He contacted Koodo for me and with his help, I was able to have this issue solved. He made sure my phone was working with the correct number and everything. The sideline to this story is that I had been in the hospital, recently, for a suspected heart attack. By the time I returned to Altaf, I was beginning to have chest pains again,but never said anything because this was not his fault. It was Koodo's, as far as I am concerned, for not having a human line for me to get assistance, and a store that does nothing but sell things. What is important for you to know is that with Altaf's assistance, my stress was relieved, and the pains subsided. By the time I left the WOW outlet store,I was feeling relaxed and so grateful for your company employing such great people as Altaf. His exceptional kindness, professionalism and 'going above and beyond' performance is a reflection, not only on Altaf, but on the company as a whole. I, definitely, will keep this in mind when looking to upgrade a phone or change a plan. Furthermore, I suggest anyone looking to upgrade, sign up or switch plans head to a WOW Mobility Boutique.
