I had originally started as a MidAmerica (the Naper Boulevard branch) customer, was swept when National City took over and then finally PNC ("PREVIOUSLY National City" :-) came in. MidAmerica was a great local bank. In my last year with PNC, there were always unnecessary and surprise charges. It became very clear that PNC was not in business for the little guy, although I was a legacy customer from MidAmerica. Having switched banks before, I could see where this was going. So, last April, I marched myself over to Naperville Bank & Trust and set up an account with Loretta. Other than to write this review, I have not looked back. The on-line banking works well and on time. They even have mobile banking, but I have not availed myself of that. The locations are convenient. NB & T is tied into Wheaton Bank & Trust and Glen Ellyn Bank & Trust such that the local banking and ATM networks are huge and convenient. If I remember correctly, Naperville Bank & Trust customers NEVER pay to use an ATM in the U.S. If you are charged, then they reimburse you. Is that "crazy generous" or what? If you have had your fill of PNC or Chase or the other big banks and their shenanigans, then you might want to give Naperville Bank & Trust a try.

When she passed I went to PNC asked what I need to close my moms accounts. I brought in the proper paperwork. I was working with Julie and Becca to get through this process. On October 5,2018 I had appointment with Becca while I was waiting in the lobby I met SAM VARDALOS Branch manager I explained to him about my my account . That I had a small estate affidavit. I'm trying to close my mom's account . That there was only 200.00 in the account that I went to my lawyer paid for this document and wanted to know why they would not give me the money in my mom's account. He looked at me told me that I have now gotten my Lawyer involved and that I was to keep my mouth shut and there would be no further talk of those accounts and then told me my banking was done and I needed to leave. I told him I had personal banking to do with Becca . He went and got her he told me to keep my mouth shut and no further talk about my mom's accounts to do my business and get out . I talked with Becca when SAM VARDALOS came over and got very VIOLENT with me and Becca . I finished my banking and left . I called midagation immediately gave them my case number 218279000384 . I talk to Jamie She told me it was going to the highest from of midagation. The man handling my case is ROGER ACCOSTEE . Well I went to the Naperville Police Department. Told them the story. Because this man only verbally abused me they couldn't arrest him . I called my attorney she never yelled at SAM VARDALOS HE LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING. My attorney never even spoke to him she talked to Marty different branch manager. I was able to talk to Julie and get my money from PNC that only happened on Monday November 5,2018. It was 131.00 Really PNC THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT A PERSON WHO LOST THERE MOTHER IN S HORRIBLE DEATH. Granted, there were extra bodies from the Maple branch sitting all around trying to work, but I just felt closed in, low ceiling, dark because there are only windows in the front. Well, now they are under construction but open for business. Fortunately I was there while the workmen were at lunch, but it cannot be easy nor very pleasant for the customers or the employees. Did it need updating? Yes. Despite the mess, the teller was very pleasant and I was out in a matter of minutes. It will be interesting to see if they can make it any brighter.

I had business dealings with the wealth management department and they are some selfish and money…read morehungry people in this office especially the higher officers. They don't disburse payments on time, are never available when you need to talk with them and will not alligate funds for repairs to our home even though the funds are there for the repairs. They treat the client like the client owes the bank something and the bank acts like the client's money is the banks and has to be approved like a loan in order for the client to uses it's own money. Now that US bank has been ordered to turn the money over to another bank, they are not abiding by the court order, wow, US bank in Lisle, Illinois must think they really are Gods, because a lesser person would be held in contempt if they disregarded a court order. No I would NOT recommend this bank, ever.
