He wasn't even wearing a planet fitness shirt so I thought some random man was being weird. Turns out he WORKS HERE? And instructed me to clean the mat properly when I was done. Like... what does he get paid for I TAKE PRIDE in being ONE OF THE ONLY PATRONS TO CLEAN THE EQUIPMENT ( no one does). I don't pay 30 dollars to be bossed around like I'm an employee even so he could have been way nicer and not so rude. This one I'd say it's top 10 as one of the best but not absolute best, here's why. As with any other PF, the good on this one: - lots of machines - clean - friendly staff - good showers, lockers, free wi-fi, restrooms, lots of TVs. - Black Card area (massage chairs, tanning, lounge, etc...) This one is better than most because it has individual TV's on cardio machines and it has a non-confusing, open plan. This one is not as good as the best because it is open 24/5 instead of 24/7; there are no large lockers (only small and medium) but these are very minor issues. Overall, this is a fantastic club, worthy of your fitness dollar, and then some!

We used the pool several times per week and the water is crystal clear and clean, and the lifeguard staff take safety as their number one priority. They are friendly with the children and supportive of the members. However, I have never felt so unwelcome in an athletic environment in my entire life. I have been competing in the pool for 44 years including an NCAA collegiate career and more recently as an elite age-group/Masters triathlete since the year 2000. Now, I am recently recovering from cancer and have set lofty ambitions for the Ironman World Championship! The YMCA published lap pool schedule was wrong with zero lanes available on Tuesday nights at 6:00 PM (typically, a busy time at most pools after work) and the stated 3-lanes was down to only 2 lanes other nights at 6 because water aerobics participants would book lanes in the lap area for their workouts. I appreciate the efforts of ALL athletes of ALL abilities willing to commit to their health goals; but in my case, my goals were de-prioritized. We were asked to leave when I lost my temper and yelled when the lap lane was roped off for the umpteenth time this past summer. I know my behavior is inexcusable and I am sorry that I got so angry (and in front of my own children), but it also is unacceptable not to abide by the published schedule. If you are a recreational athlete, or just using the Y for basic health goals, then you will LOVE this place, but if you are serious about your training, then you will be treated as an outsider.
