Our daughter was recently offered a contract with BMG Talent. As new parents navigating an unfamiliar industry, we scheduled a call with the agency on Tuesday, 5/27, to ask some basic questions about the contract--something we felt was both reasonable and expected. During that call, we were told we had 7-10 business days from the meeting date to make a decision. However, just three days later, on 5/30, we reached out with a simple follow-up question: "Just to confirm, do those 12 clients typically book talent around our daughter's age?" In response, we received the following message from Alexa L. (Youth Agent): "I've seen that you've had some questions for Neida (Talent Manager), regarding our client list and expected work for your daughter.... Unfortunately, since the contract meeting, I no longer believe that we are a good fit as an agency for you and your daughter. You deserve to be with an agency that you can feel confident in from the get-go, and we don't seem to be that agency." While the abruptness and tone were disappointing, Alexa was right--we're glad she rescinded the offer. It ultimately saved us the frustration of dealing with someone who responded to reasonable questions with passive aggression and unprofessionalism. Do not recommend this agency. You won't achieve anything with them. Try to find something else. I've been there from 2019 to 2025 and nothing - just wasted my time. Not a lot of jobs or castings, low- quality photoshoots, and photographers they offer to make a basic portfolio. There is no proper connection with the agency. Talent managers change every 6-10 months. And tbh, nothing changes. New talent manager Ellie is working for BMG in multiple states at the same time and she is trying to fit in everything, which is obviously hard for one person and not enough for a local agency. I wish you all the best and I regret spending the best age of my life with them and losing all hope of making my dreams come true -to at least become a good local model (I'm 5'7.5" tall; 34-24-35 in; from Europe) ... so please, if you truly believe in yourself or in your child be more selective and choose a better path for your life! read more

BMG booked my first and memorable print gig as a Foot Model. I worked every week side-by-side with Euro LA Models. Client requested that, I "bring it on"! *Lol* {My Agent and I were clueless.} Full Mani pedi was required. My full page, sexy boots photo was featured in Bon-Ton's coveted Fall Fashion catalog. In all photoshoots, I was fully outfitted from head to toe. I may be too short for runway work, but dang it, MY FEET made it to an acrylic runway. {The leg shot was a pleasant surprise as I was booked as Foot Model, not a Leg Model -- 2 different categories.} On the 4th week, we were comfortable in our groove that this sexy photo was done in 5 mins! There were so many fabulous photos that the Creative Director told the photographer to stop, otherwise there will be too many photos to choose from. As a professional commercial print model, 15 mins per look SHOULD yield 3+ publishable photo in whatever desired vibe/look. Majority of time is dedicated to lighting setup, wardrobe etc. read more

They are trash. They signed me and at the time they seemed committed but did not give me any resources what so ever. This is pretty common but still needs to change. I had to provide photos for them (this was not a surprise as it was stated in my contract), however when I asked for photographers I could hire they were extremely unhelpful, and I had to go searching for photographers on my own. That was my first red flag, an agency that does not have a relationship with photographers? That is not good. In addition, after I signed with them, I barely got any communication. When I did hear from them, it was coming from a place of anger because I did not upload a video, or submit to a job five minutes after hearing about the job. They are arrogant for no reason, I have never seen any of their models do well, in the industry. If you truly want to be a model do not sign with them, it is a waste of time. Pros: - You can say you are a signed model Cons: - They do not care about you - you will not get any work - by signing with them you cut yourself off from the region - you get no support, especially if you are a new model They are a collector agency, by signing with them you are just another model, find another agency that will actually see the relationship as equivalent. You will not go anywhere with this modeling agency, the agents and agency owner do not care for your needs they tried to shape me into something I was not by telling me to apply heat and straighten my hair for every casting and job. I was born with curly hair and this is just my natural look. They charge a ridiculous amount of fees unlike any other agency, so many fees to the point I asked where was my check was for my previous 5 jobs and they said I wasn't owed any money and was actually in debt due to the fees I owed. I called the Chicago office to inquire about the model call information. A man answered the phone; he had the nastiest attitude. So unprofessional and trashy. If you don't want to deal with people then don't work in customer service! It's so funny to me how miserable these people are and they pretend to put on this big front. SO UNATTRACTIVE! I signed a 3 year exclusive contract with this company in 2017. I invested money into doing headshots and making sure to be active in my craft- acting, improv, etc. The representative I had- Victoria Borda- had excellent communication skills but left shortly after signing me on. Since then, I have been on 3 jobs only since 2017. When a client reached out to them to have me model for them for the second time- a rep at BMG told the client that they couldn't find me... which means you're not representing me the way that I should be. I wasn't even listed on the site, and can model, act, and improvise with an extensive background in all areas. I was exclusively signed with this company, meaning I couldn't sign with anyone else... Also no one can tell you exactly how many days until you are paid for jobs you've done under them. Very chaotic and dysfunctional, and the male receptionist is abrupt and rude- yet he is still working there...Well I see now that I wasted my time signing with this company and was also dropped without an explanation- stating I'm "still obligated to them???" which is very insulting and tasteless.
