I am a EWC client. I was satisfied with their work but needed a relief in expenses. That's how I ended up on Groupon. I found a great deal and hoped for the best. I had no issues with the online booking system. Easy breezy. The location is in a nice area but the building is old. It doesn't give strip mall vibes, it gives apartment vibes. Maybe it used to be. But I digress. There is a parking lot on the property. Plenty of parking available. She's located in #5. There is a small sign in the window. Her shop is well maintained. Clean. Welcoming. Comfortable. Tanzania is friendly and relatable. I really enjoyed our conversation. I've been getting waxed forever and it can be painful. Not as painful as the 1st time, but it's never been 'painless'. I would rate my EWC pain experiences as a 7/10. BM Beautee was a 4/10!! I'm still shocked over that!! Especially bc I was 8 weeks out. Haven't found a wax lady here yet and glad I was able to search Tee on Google The area is a bit sketchy, lightweight looks like apartments but once in her building (#5) looks like any other waxing service room. Tee is so welcoming and friendly and her price is cheaper than European Wax which was where I was thinking of going before I searched self employed waxing services to get a Brazilian. Will def be going back to her :) I have sensitive skin and she voiced her concerns when she saw my skin was a bit red which means she cares. My gf found this business on Groupon. She bought the wax as a gift for me. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When i booked the apt I confirmed TWICE online. Odd but whatever. I tell her i already confirmed & she asks me how i found her. I tell her through Groupon (my apt was scheduled for Wednesday) & she tells me Groupons are only accepted on Sundays. NO WHERE IN THE DESCRIPTION NOR THE FINE PRINT DOES SHE EVER SAY THIS. If I can give a ZERO star on this waxer, I would! Purchase a service from Tanzania Brown (owner) through Groupon as a first time customer. If you decide to purchase through Groupon, I advise you call this person directly to see her availability. I used her online booking system and literally 2 hours before my appointment I get an automated text saying my appointment has been cancelled. I text her business number, no response. I call a few minutes later and she answers and says something about how her Groupon deal is only available for Sunday's. I don't see that listed anywhere on her site or Groupon disclaimer. This has been the best and painless wax I ever experienced . I have very sensitive skin and I usually have side effects from waxes. my skin usually stings for a day or 2 after . I don't know what type of magic she uses but I did not sting. She was very gentle, made sure I was okay the whole process and even gave me tips on how to better manage my skin and skin irratians. if you have sensitive skin or have been afraid to wax because of the pain I strongly suggest you come here. no more European wax for me lol. read more
