1 star because there is no lower ! Absolutely the most dishonest business you can imagine ! A fire is a terrible experience but then you trust a company to come in and "supposedly " help clean up , lists of missing items repeatedly get ignored , their standby answer is ALWAYS "I don't know "! I could go on and on , 1instance : they told us they had an inspection for asbestos , long story short , when asked for a copy of the report , they had to admit they never had it done ! Their reply " we don't know "! But , they took the 500 charge off our bill , how great was that ??? The list of things they did wrong could fill this page , don't let it happen to you or your business ! read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs. They ruined my apartment and WERENT EVEN WORKING ON IT. They were working on the unit above mine and i got two separate water damaged areas! They cut my internet cable and denied doing it, they made a huge mess and never cleaned it up, they ruined many of my things and never compensated me for it, they lied several times, they even left a damaged smoke alarm in my apartment that they caused, and they wasted hours and hours of my time. !!!!!!!WHATEVER YOU DO...DO NOT HIRE BLUESKY!!!!!!!! My home flooded on Decmber 25, 2022 from burst sprinkler pipes. On January 4th, 2023, Blue Sky arrived at my condo to repair the pipe in my kitchen. However, they did not return to fix the hole in my kitchen ceiling until June 23rd, 2023 - 170 days later. BlueSky was dispatched to my home multiple times for demolition without any prior notice. During the demolition process, little to no information was provided to me. They left industrial equipment in my home with no instructions and removed the floors, walls, and insulation in the midst of winter. Despite this, no information was provided to me regarding the next steps. BlueSky chose to communicate with the HOA instead of me. On June 16th, 2023 - 91 days after the demolition of my home ended - BlueSky came back to perform repairs. BlueSky was contracted by my HOA to do the restoration of my home. BlueSky sub-contracted with another crew of workers that I would have never have hired or given permission to these people to work on my home. The subcontractors did not all have a grasp of the English language. They had a van with a 336 number on the van, but Texas license plates. There was not a defined number of workers. They broke valuables such as a paint frame, other art work and window blinds, leaving my bedroom without blinds for multiple days. At one point, their project manager asked me to take time out of my day and research carpet samples as opposed to him bringing samples to me. I advised them that I had laminate flooring and would like that installed. Despite it being a few pennies more per foot, they refused to acomodate me. After the subcontractors ended the repairs on my home, they refused to provide me with documentation regarding the materials used, warranty information, budget, and other critical information. Despite having undergone a complete demolition and restoration of my home after a catastrophic flooding event, I have received no information. Additionally, Bluesky did not even file for work permits. The flood was a tragic incident, but Bluesky's actions were far more devastating. They exhibited no regard for my situation, and I was forced to work from home while the repairs were being carried out. Other homeowners had the option to use another company, and I would suggest calling ServePro as they use in-house employees. I had a situation with my home where major restoration was needed. I had never heard of BluSky at that time, but they were a preferred vendor with my insurance company. After 6 months of work, I have to say that they have done a great job and were so easy to work with and responsive. I can't say enough about the project manager, Chris. BluSky is customer service oriented, and will do a job right and make the customer satisfied. Overall, I dealt with two companies for this project. BluSky was amazing, and the other was lousy. read more

We used Blu Sky Restoration after a tree fell on our house during a storm last June. After months of messing around they finally started the job. They did part of the job that was originally quoted and filed with the insurance company and said they were finished. After weeks or back and forth they came back and did some more work, and finally months later they came back and did some more. The last time they came THEY said they were finished and wanted us to sign the agreement which we did not. they sent us an invoice we started paying, we have paid the full amount they we received from the insurance company but they continue to harass us for more money. We have as for an explanation to which we can't get anything but more harassment and cursed at! they are now threating us with liens and collection agencies to which we have just ask for a reason why we owe more. I do not recommend blusky Greensboro, they don't pay to vendors after vendors complete projects. Blusky keep changing of management an on the end vendors don't get paid. We work for Topsail NC and didn't received last invoice payment (job was completed 11/2019) read more

There are not enough words to express how professional Disaster One is. We recently had an apartment fire that left 6 families homeless. It was such an emotional moment for everyone involved. Disaster One was on the scene before the fire was out and took control. I have never seen any company work so well together and have such compassion. I would recommend them to anyone. They went over and beyond what was required of them. While the fire victims was working with Red Cross they ordered them all Pizza and delivered it to the management office. We asked Disaster One to bid out a job at our apartment community - they were far more prompt and appropriately priced compared to the three other vendors we also asked for bids from. Disaster One was able to get the job done quickly, thoroughly and the pricing was absolutely appropriate to the scope of work needed. The local rep, Angie, was great to work with and the level of in-person service that we received was fantastic. Would recommend Disaster One for any type of reparative work needed for a home or business. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Horrible from day one! They arrived first day without proper equipment begin remediation. They said they would be back the next morning. No show, no call. I called them around lunch and they said they would be out following morning. The humidifier worked for one day. I called the technician who installed and we walked through how I could get it running on my own (really, they couldn't come out themselves?). It kept tripping a breaker and would not work. He told me he could be out in two days to check it. What, not same day, not the next day?????? He guaranteed that the machine is strong enough that one day should be sufficient anyway. I indicated to make sure that I only get billed for the one day that the equipment was working properly and he said they would never do that. During the process my insurance agent followed up with me to see how the remediation was coming along and I shared the events with him and my displeasure with Disaster One since they were the ones who referred them. Several days later when the agent phoned again to talk about the check from the insurance company I asked if he could double check the invoice from Disaster One and be sure we were only billed for the equipment for one day. My agent dealt directly with them and they indicated they were to my house multiple times and brought out a new unit to replace the non-working one and billed for a total of five days for the equipment. I'm sure because they bill the insurance directly they thought I would never be the wiser! Today with my agent when he called to tell me this, I dialed in the tech for a conference call, who was a bit defensive but verified the chain of events with myself and my insurance agent. He did not, however, accept any responsibility whatsoever. He gave us the name of his manager, and we then dialed him into a conference call and basically after first trying to pull off the lie, he basically said we weren't going to agree on the chain of events and my agent pointed out that we just confirmed what actually occurred with the tech who I worked with...... they were caught. No apologies, nothing other than an immediate, "we will adjust for one day". I did not mention that they put a row of staples all the way across my wood floor when they tented off an area for remediation. I also did not mention that despite my concerns of the water going down further into the lower level, the maintained that all was fine there, that I had no need to worry. Tomorrow another remediation company is coming. After being away for four days and coming home it now smells like mold in lower level. I guess one day was not enough afterall. Poor communication, even poorer services and crooks to boot. I think more people should review what the insurance company recieves to keep everyone honest! read more

I have used Disaster One several times and have had no compliants! They complete the work in a timely manner and are very courtesy of neighbors in surrounding apartments. I would recomment them to anyone. read more
