Florist are the top most expensive in weddings. We went through many meetings with different florist and couldn't find the right one, especially with couple's who are on a budget. I'm so happy our wedding planner found Yoli. Yoli was so wonderful to work with. We went for a Classic, round and more tightly composed bouquets with minimal greenery. Color palate: all white, hint of blush pink and gold accents. For the ceremony: We had baby breaths garland and we re-purpose to the reception for our tables....(That was a smart idea). We hired Yoli's Flowers for our wedding on 8.9.10. We had a couple consultations with her and wanted something simple, boysenberry and within our small budget. Within 24 hours, we received samples of bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. She mentioned an affordable and simple vase could be mason jars. We loved the idea and rolled with it. She presented us with various flowers similar to boysenberry and of various prices. Our day was more beautiful than we ever couple have imaged. At the last minute we realized: 1) I needed a flower for my hair. Yoli brought me more than a flower. She made a hair clip out of gardenias. Looking back at the photos, the gardenia was the finishing touch to my dress. 2) We needed vines for the harbor. I was going to pick plastic vines up from the arts and crafts store and she shut that idea down REALLY quick. Yoli assured me she would find real vines AND even offer to decorate the harbor for us. 3) Plastic sticks for the table numbers--she had no problem bringing them. 4) Extra flowers for the sign-in table and the kids in our wedding--she always brings extra flowers to offer her special touch. Yoli took pride in decorating everything from the ribbon on the mason jars to the flowers on the harbor. Yoli even made sure that the ribbon on the mason jars matched the ribbon near the cupcake tower. When it came time to hire a florist for my wedding, I was not looking forward to it. My past experiences had not been good with high prices, mediocre quality, and very little service. What I really needed was someone who could provide both quality flowers AND personal service at a reasonable price. Yoli was referred to me by a personal recommendation. I was told that Yoli worked out of her home, so she was less expensive than most commercial florists, she'd be willing to meet with me at my home, and had done a fabulous job taking care of everything for her daughter's wedding.
