Chandler was awesome! It had been about 7 months since I had my hair done and it was definitely well over due. I arrived a little early and was seated immediately. I showed Chandler some pictures of hair colors that I liked and with the help of another associate they determined the best route for my hair. Since it had been so long since I had even a trim, a lot of length needed to be taken off and I desperately needed a color correction. My hair feels so healthy now! Chandler is AMAZING! At first I was browsing for a hair salon and came across Blush Salon then wanted to see how everyone's work look so I went to Instagram to see their portfolio. I'd say Chandler's portfolio intrigued me so we got to messaging each other about what color and how I want done to my hair. I wanted to give her a shot at my hair so wanting to start off slow by getting a haircut and getting to know her. I didn't really have much in mind about the cut or style I wanted. My daughter wanted to get a haircut before she started her first year of college. Being new to the area, I searched yelp and based on the rave review, chose Blush Salon. We were able to get a same day appointment to my surprise. When we met her stylist, it seemed like she was fresh out of school. The technique she used looked like nothing I've ever seen. My daughter wanted a trim and layers. In the end, it was just a trim. They stylist said she did 'invisible layers' and she did a great job at that because we could not see any at all! And we paid $45 for it! I understand giving new grads a chance, but if your reputation (and possible repeat customers) are on the line, you check their work and follow up. She was nice and friendly, but it cost 2 potential customers for poor quality. read more

I got my hair done by CHANDLER about a year ago. I asked for white blonde hair and I have seen her picture and thought, "wow she's really good!" BUT DONT GO TO HER. She was doing a great job and I was like okay everything is fine. BUT THEN SHE PUT ME UNDER THE DRYER WITH BLEACH IN MY HAIR FOR 45min BECAUSE SHE WAS TALKING TO HER FRIENDS IN THE BACK. I don't know anything about hair, but I thought it was a little weird that she left me under there for so long, but I decided to trust her because SHE was the hair stylist. TURNS OUT: I shouldn't of trusted HER! Once she styled my hair, it was green, and I thought maybe it would fade after a couple of washes, but it didn't. My hair started falling out everywhere, and now I'm missing huge chunks from my hair. She charged me $300 for hair that was falling out and that was green. This picture is what it looks like now after it's grown out for a year. I am missing the whole right side of my hair. My confidence is destroyed after this experience, I have been living with a mullet for over a year. I think about how awful of a hairstylist she is everyday while I do my hair. First time client this morning and what a great experience! I left a message for an appointment, received a call back the same day, and I was on the books right away. Nicole is not only the nicest and most easy going stylist ever, she did a fantastic job on my hair!! I wear a halo extension which needed to be cut and blended with my natural hair. This was NOT an easy job, and the result is beautiful! I asked for lots of texture so it's sorta "piecy" at the ends. She also curled and styled me with some beachy waves! I love Blush. Everyone is lovely and Nina has helped me grow out my hair and I was able to grow out my grey naturally.

My daughter had her hair dyed there, my other daughter had Dutch French braids done, and I had my hair styled....my daughter's dyed hair looked more green than purple (it was supposed to be lilac), my other daughter's braids were loose and sloppy. I had to part her hair because the girl who parted her hair did it crooked. I was specific when I asked what I wanted...tight, neat braids...got the opposite. I asked for my hair to be styled to the side with waves and some height in the back...the girl hardly added any products to my hair and only curled each section for 2 seconds and didn't add much height to the back. After 30 minutes from leaving the salon, my hair was completely straight and flat. This place is disappointing and overrated. read more
