Dr. Ponquinette gave me hope and I immediately made the decision to have him work in my mouth. The surgery day came, Dr Ponquinette performed his magic, numerous extractions and 2 implants. All went flawlessly. No bruising or pain. The care of Dr. Ponquinette and his office exceeded my expectations by far. Throughout the years never had a positive outcome with dentist or oral surgeons. I can't wait to get my teeth and be able to eat and laugh again without pain. I feel blessed by Dr. Ponquinette, assistant's and Maria. Additionally, due to the unprofessional, unethical, and breach of services, I have filed a complaint with the New Jersey State Board of Dentistry. on 12.29 Dr Mc Elroy pulled a tooth. I needed another pulled. He had my xrays since 2/12/26. I set up another appointment to have a second tooth extracted. The next appointment to have the second tooth pulled was set for yesterday 3/12/26. A month and a half later. When he walked into the dental room where I had been waiting. He said to be "back again". I said yep, round two. he looked closely at my tooth and say a possible infection, he took another look at the exray, and commented and confirmed the tooth he was going to pull. In great regret, I had told him I was meeting with my dentist next week to work out a plan for estimates. He said he could do a "bone graft" for implants. I told him I just want the tooth pulled and did not even want to discuss and other surgical work, be it implants or bone grafts. I am on social security and not about to spend money i currently do not have When I made it clear I was there for just a tooth removal and not a bone graft, on any additional appointment. he got up and said I would have make another appointment. I told him he was lying and I was there He knew precisely the reason I was there...to have him pull my tooyh. That this was a consolution. How many does he hold especially when he looked and move my tooth around. I explained the front office confirmed i was getting a tooth pulled, yet because i refused any "upsale" he left the room and said this another was another consultation. consultation, He caused me unnecessary anxiety because I did not agree to his up sale, it was obvious I did not work into his sucker "upsale rhetorict, and he promptly left the office. When I called back and explained this was no consultation he walked away and disappeared. Up front I was upset and told his staff I had been lied to, they confirmed I was there for an extraction, not a consolation. I raised my voice out of passion for his lie and he never came back out. DO NOT USE THE GUY. HE IS NOT HONEST AND HIS MAIN CONCERN IS HIMSELF. he is a black mark non the dentistry. If his work ethic is a representation of this gropup , for yiour own good, do not use them. This was literally the best medical / dental experience I've ever had. I had what was described by…read moremy regular dentist as a difficult tooth to pull (curved root, etc). Because of this, he referred me to oral surgeon, Dr Brian Krost, of Center for Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery for it. I went to the Freehold office. I was anticipating the worst - lengthy procedure, potential pain, etc. I wanted lidocaine injections only, and I experienced no pain, with the tooth pull itself taking less than 5 minutes (again, despite it being a more difficult pull). Dr Krost's skill and demeanor (including putting me at ease, communicating and addressing my concerns) were exceptional. The staff -- from the dental professional who assisted Dr Krost to those at the front desk - were equally exceptional with their skills, support, communication, etc. I have a reflexive anxiety reaction to even the simplest medical procedures where I come close to passing out (eg I have to lay down whenever I have a blood test or even when getting a simple shot). I had the same reaction after the simple lidocaine injections (again, the act of getting a simple shot induces my reaction). I communicated to the dental professional that I was feeling dizzy and nauseous & she saw the color go out of my face. She put my head back to resolve it and gave me non judgmental assurance and support. Dr Brian Krost was equally patient and supportive in response to this. I then had the same reaction after the tooth pull was over. The dental professional again had the same patience and support, putting my head back and staying with me & not rushing me in any way. The staff at the front desk were equally supportive and helpful. I received a follow up call from the dental professional who had helped me. It was an amazing experience. If I have to get even a 'simple' tooth extraction done, I'm going here and will ask for Dr Brian Krost.
