We have taken classes with Linda and Jennifer and they are both so fun and engaging. They are so good at working with preschoolers. They ask questions of the children to get them thinking and to keep them engaged. They are funny and energetic and always smiling. They never ever tell a child to sit and listen. They respect every child's individual needs whether s/he needs to sit or move around, pay attention or not. I can't say enough about these teachers. After several weeks of taking his first music class, I heard my kiddo playing out the rhythm patterns. He's also started making up his own songs. At the end of just one week I was amazed at how much he learned; they had a presentation showing the parents what the kids did during the week and demonstrate the new acquired knowledge. Singing, playing simple songs on ukulele, simple key notes on the piano, naming so many musical instruments, role playing, painting and doing art projects...I am sure I missed something but the point is that there was a lot of learning done in a fun way in just a week. The teachers Mrs. Goldman and Mrs. Cobb are very nurturing and make sure the kids stay on task in a kind way.
