Wow! What a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the day. Warning, DO NOT go when it's crowded (holidays or weekends) or you will truly miss out on seeing it's charm. To clarify Scarborough bluffs is comprised of several different parks. Here's a link to see all the parks that comprise "The Bluffs" www1.toronto.ca/wps/port... So many photo ops abound - nature trails, a bridge, beach, marina, bluffs, birds, benches...Lots of things to do like hiking, fishing, grilling (there are bbq grills and picnic benches set up throughout the parks), biking and just strolling. The trails connect you to the marina, beach and bluffs which has a beautiful view of Lake Ontario (water is clear and in some areas you can see different shades of blue). Make sure to take off your shoes and take a walk on the beach. There's nothing more relaxing than being by the beach, hearing the sound of the waves and burying your feet into the soft sand ahhhhh. Bring your volleyball net and set it up with the available poles. Beach volleyball is an even better workout than regular vball plus you get a soft place to land if you dive for a ball. They have paid parking but you can walk your way down to the park if you're up to it. There are friendly cops that patrol the area but do not get on their bad side by not paying for parking or feeding the birds, you will get a ticket. Me and my friends did chase after the birds though, made me feel like a kid again. TIPS - bring some food and drinks, a blanket, some mood music, comfortable shoes, a tent or beach umbrella and your significant other(s). Take the time, relax and enjoy life....

Scarborough Bluffs is so hyped up but it really does not stand up to how nice Bluffer's Park is. Bluffer's Park is a neighborhood gem - it's a clean and maintained park with family friendly walking paths, better views, and more activities. Scarborough Bluffs is just some random trail with several off the path areas that let you dangerously climb onto the rocks and take cool looking photos of the view below (which is Bluffer's Park). If you want to get views without effort, Bluffer's Park is it. Parking is very cheap and you can spend an hour or two here. There is a ton of space for large groups and several scenic spots in which you can take some really nice photos. You will see a lot of people motorboating by this park since it is near a yacht club. Highly recommend coming here on a clear summer day.

I've already reviewed the listing for the Scarborough Bluffs but Bluffer's Park is in fact a park, not just scenery or geographical topography. It's a place. 1 Brimley South would be accurate and while there's previous photos/postings for the cost of Green P parking. I was just there and there was no such thing. I'm not sure if they remove the requirement for paid parking after summer or not but this is the second time I've been where there was NO seemingly requirement for paid parking, none. The park is where I take most out of towners when I'm looking for something to do on a lazy Sunday while the weather is still relatively mild to enjoy the outdoors. If the skies are blue, the grass is still green and you don't need a thick jacket is a good time to check this place out. So yes, instead of that strange address that the Scarborough Bluffs has for perhaps the top cliff side, this address of 1 Brimley Road will take you down south of Kingston Road and down the path leading to the park where every time I've been seems to have a decent amount of parking. The park has some gravel paths some towards the lakefront and other that meander in a grassy area with some places to picnic and even have provided charcoal bbqs. Closer to the cliffs there's the storm water side which is normally closed off as far as the bridges and floating walkways go. If you head more west along the path you'll eventually get to the cove area which is open and the flat face of the bluffs that opens out to the lake where there is a bit of a curved shoreline. It's a really nice change of scenery considering most of our city is considered flat with the exception of a few rivers/valleys like the Humber or Don this is probably the most dramatic elevation change in the entire city being that they're vertical drop cliffs.

Went there during end if April. Good place for BBQ and walk around the waters. There were LOTs of mosquitoes though. And I mean LOTS. There used to be a place up the bluff where you can look down at the whole beach. But it got blocked off so you won't be able to go anymore.

I always bring my visiting friends to this place. It's a Toronto staple and definitely better when someone from Scarborough takes you ().

Unlike most parks, you'll find no grass or benches here. What used to be a parking lot is now filled with gardens, native plant species, prairie meadow, marsh, and trees. A silver-coloured metal structure houses a waterfall bordering one side of a courtyard. At the other end you'll find a rock "outcropping" (a 650 ton rock, coaxed out of the Canadian Shield and reassembled in the park) The park draws many visitors, tourists and is a great place for celebrity sightings during the Toronto Film Fest. Workers (like me!) eat lunch and people-watch at the bistro tables and chairs scattered throughout the park.

Visiting a cemetery is not something I do for fun pre-COVID, but I'm glad I went there for a walk for once. Many tombstones from ages ago are wearing away, and I'm wondering whether their descendants still visit them. You can walk along a path with flat-to-the-ground headstones flanking either side into an area shaded by trees. I also saw Jack Layton's monument, with a headstone sculpture of his face. I see people have left some flowers recently. Super cool as I did not know his gravesite is there! Riverdale Farm was closed when I was there, but I could still peek at the farm animals outside the gate. I was there just after they announced on the news that someone stole Juniper, the baby goat! I believe I saw mama and the siblings there? The gates are not high... so I can see how a rascal can jump the fence and take a goat. Like who does that?! Cemetery and a park walk are not the first things that come to mind, but it reminds me that when I open my mind to unique experiences, I'm most of the time pleasantly rewarded.
