Avacab are a very popular taxi service for people in Leigh I think they were one of the first taxi…read moreranks in Leigh, I do feel the drivers are sometimes a bit rough and ready but friendly enough, the fares are cheap but they do turn up if a little later than arranged. we laugh about it because every time you ring they say he will be with you in 10 mins and we always add another 10 on for good luck as they are always late, but I think they just say it so as not to loose a fare. They do have minibuses which we have used a few times for airport runs and they have never let us down yet. They do seem to drive fast and always seem to be in a rush, but I think most taxi drivers are the same, I suppose they need to make money. The drivers always carry my shopping to the door for me when I book a taxi to pick me up from the supermarket with all my bags.

Had to get a replacement bus pass which required the woman working( forgot her name but was working…read moretoday) to ring multiple people but she sorted it as quickly as she could and I got my pass. I should of had to go to Manchester but she sorted it there in Wigan. Was very friendly and I'm very grateful!
