I have to admit that my experience with Deborah was around 2008, but it never left me. I was…read morestruggling with conflict with my daughter, who had been admitted to a prestigious school, but wanted to come home. She was having some difficulty adjusting. I was told that should kick her out of the house and let her fend for herself. (She was only 18.) When I expressed reticence, Deborah told me something to the effect of, "Well if you're not going to take my advice, I can't help you." I left and never returned.
