It's seemed as though he was purposely leaving things out. When asked about it he, for some reason, became defensive and began telling me rumors the tenant told him. When I asked what that has to do with him missing the holes in the walls and completely missing the back and front yards he went into a tirade about it being my fault and that I should've known the tenant wasn't going to be a good renter. This is just one situation. I had to constantly double check their work order requests, and when my money was deposited. Many management companies would just go through the motions but never get things done, or do a half baked job, get vendors that overcharged so they could collect their VIG off the back end of a project. I could always trust Allen to do the right thing and get things done quickly and efficiently. He always answered my calls no matter the time of day or night, then again, that was years ago and I am talking from previous experience. Allen helped me achieve many long term key goals I had set for our complex during my administration @ PC.He helped me put in a keyless fob entry security system that tracked access of individually numbered fobs and limited access to certain areas for members of the association. We put in security cameras to monitor all entrances to the complex so we could cut down on car break ins in the garage and unauthorized entrances to the complex. We reconverted the mens and ladies locker rooms in the basement of the Rec Building into a full on gym, remodeled the bathrooms on the main floor in the Rec Building to have steam rooms, resurfaced both pools and 3 jacuzzis. We also converted an area in the front of the building into a concierge / guard station. We also resurfaced the foam roofs and he completed a termite abatement project I started before I moved away. Allen was a great resource and brought in some wonderful people to work who still work at the complex today. Antonio Compos was always a joy to work with, did awesome work for a fair price.That is probably why he is still doing work there today. All in all, if I had to do it all again I would hire Allen over at AME PROPERTY MANAGEMENT. Nice guy.

Prior to the termination of our community's contracts with Oaktree Management, we experienced extensive governance, financial‑control, and transparency issues with Oaktree Property Management. Over several years, we documented repeated failures to follow basic financial safeguards, adhere to contractual obligations, and maintain proper documentation. These issues were not isolated and they formed a consistent pattern that placed our Association at significant financial and operational risk. As a resident involved on HOA committees and reviewing HOA records, I observed repeated lapses in basic management practices under Oaktree Property Management. Upon questioning Oaktree about their practices, a group of concerned home owners and myself were placed under extreme scrutiny, delayed access to clear and accurate records, and significant pushback from the company's management. These issues created unnecessary confusion and risk for our community. While Oaktree may work differently with other associations, our experience highlighted serious concerns about oversight, transparency, and adherence to standard financial controls. I encourage any Board working with, or considering Oaktree as their management company, to ask detailed questions about their financial processes, documentation standards, and conflict‑of‑interest policies.

It is as close as you can get to a scam under the guise of a "management company" I don't think I have ever written a negative review like this in my life, but they were so dangerous and excruciating to work with, I feel the need to warn people. I have so many pictures and videos that are grounds for suing. It was like pulling teeth to do anything with them. Don't count on them ever doing what they say they will, when they say they will. Tony will "forget" about every single meeting, and then you'll have to pull teeth to even get a lackluster response.
