No suggestions for an in person consultation. If I look so "extremely" uneven, wouldn't you at least want to try to help me? Photos are limited for evaluation. Also, I just mentioned what one doctor suggested years ago. Obviously I don't believe that what was mentioned then is still what I need. I just finished medical school and honestly, I'm still so peeved and hurt by this unprofessional encounter I felt the need to write. Having a congenital eye disorder results in a lot of insecurities, and having a sensitive bedside manner is really important when helping potential patients. I felt awful about myself after this encounter and stopped seeking help for some time...I just hope whoever wrote that email has learned to be more sensitive towards vulnerable patients. This offer was one of the key factors that drew me to this spa in the first place and I was excited about these perks. However, as the anniversary of my membership neared, I was told that this offer would no longer be honored. I was taken aback, not just by the broken promise, but by the lack of prior communication or explanation regarding this sudden change in terms. This experience left me feeling deceived and disheartened, as I've been faithful in my monthly payments and expected the same level of commitment from Ovme in return. I made it clear I wasn't interested, but she continued to push the idea and even brought in a surgery coordinator. The coordinator then criticized my previous filler, saying it caused puffiness, and made a comment about cannula placement that felt unnecessary and confusing. Apparently the cannula needs to touch the lower eyelash. What didn't make sense to me was why I was told I wasn't a candidate for laser, yet was being strongly steered toward filler--especially when they themselves pointed out puffiness.... I drove over 2 hours to go to the "best of the best". Overall, the experience felt pushy and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend.
