Wow, I'm glad they don't have appointments till Dec for new patients, the lady was so rude and condescending... horrendous. I've done your job before "Becky". Don't come here because "gatekeepers" "bless your heart" appointment setters will not make you an appointment if they choose not to like your insurance. read more

They've decided to overbook the staff as much as the health department right next to it, so don't bother paying an arm and a leg going through insurance, they literally don't care about you here. read more

I've been a patient here for a year and a half (one pregnancy/birth and now my second) & transitioned through one doctor (Dr. Ulm left the practice) to the next (Dr.Riggan who is incredible). I've seen other doctors in the transition and the NPs and not once had a bad experience. I think the front desk staff is great and the lab workers as well. Honestly could not think of one negative thing. read more

I hesitated to leave this review, because the doctor I saw is no longer in the practice, but her manner and tone with me at my first appointment were completely unacceptable. Absolutely no "bedside manner." read more

stay away!!! Dr Nixon lost my culture when I went in with pain so weeks went by and no one called me, when I called they tried beating around the fact that they lost it. I WAS able to get a confirmation that their office lost it. Dr Nixon and his nurse told me twice they would not charge me for the visit but I got a bill. I called and I was referred to the billing dept who sent me to the office mgr because she said she can't waive the charge. I left several messages for the office Mgr. After finally getting to talk to her she said they will not honor that Dr Nixon said they would waive the charge since he was not able to help me. Mind you, I took off work for that apt and all the calls trying to get this resolved and my medical problem was still not cured. The office mgr was so rude to me. She ended up hanging up the phone on me. They sent my bill to collections! this place is an unprofessional mess! I would not recommend going to Bluegrass OBGYN - Centennial Women's Group 353 New Shackle Island Hendersonville TN read more

Scheduled an appointment and told them I had new insurance, provided new insurance and the appointment was 3 weeks later. I'm pregnant, I went to the appointment and they tell me they don't take my insurance. After a morning of throwing up and dragging myself there, they won't even see me. This was my first prenatal appointment. They should have verified they took my insurance when I booked the appointment and provided the insurance information. Ridiculous and a waste of time. read more

My mom tried to make me an appointment. Lady on the phone said I haven't been in 2 or 3 years. I would be considered a new patent and they no longer take Tenncare. I haven't been because of the coronavirus. I was just trying to be cautious. I never thought a doctor's office would drop me as patient because I was trying to be cautious. I been coming here since 2015 and haven't seen any obgyn doctors but this office. It's a real shame because I liked this office. read more

My major problem is NOT getting test results. I had a pap done and it took 6 months to get the results back. Then it was by mail. Thankfully it was normal. 3 months ago I had an ultrasound sound done. Still have not received the results. They are not posted to portal either. I did have a back up way of getting those results one week after the test. And it was not exactly normal. But no call from my Dr. Thankfully those results did not show anything life threatening. Bc obviously my Dr is not concerned. read more

I thought a long time about writing this review but I think for the safety of other women I want to share. I had a D &C this year after a loss . I asked to have my IUD be put back in and the doc ( Simkins) shared it had possibly moved to my abdomen so sent me for an X ray. That scan supposedly showed it was in my abdomen so another surgery and anesthesia was required. The IUD was NOT in my abdomen and I didn't need the anesthesia to remove it . Overall this cost over $1,000 out of pocket from a dangerous mistake. The doctor put in my IUD too soon after my D & C. This is not a good care group - go to Vanderbilt. read more

I have visited bluegrass for 3 years for my annual checkups & have absolutely nothing to complain about. Front desk are friendly & helpfully. The medical staff are lovely & so accommodating. Appointments run to schedule. 5 stars. read more

The doctors are great but the receptionist is incredibly rude. I had to move out of state unexpectedly and when my new doctor requested records over the phone she would not fax them over even though I had provided verbal consent. I tried to explain to her that for permitted disclosures of health information, HIPAA does not require that a patient give written permission. Instead, clinicians are allowed to use a patient's verbal consent. She tried to argue with me and refused to send the medical office my records because she did not have my signature which she claimed she had to "use to compare with the signature on file" at Bluegrass. If you are experiencing issues with this woman I suggest calling and asking to speak with Gigi that is the manager. read more

Let me start this off by saying that Dr. Riggan is a great doctor! I just moved to the area and needed to have routine lady business taken care of and after reading reviews for Dr. Riggan I decided on Bluegrass OB/GYN. He's a very caring, thorough and competent Doctor and he is the only reason I stuck with going to Bluegrass.. My low rating is due to my dealings with the office manager when there was an issue with ordering something through insurance. Without going into boring details, the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional and condescending. I'm still waiting on a call back after a month to discuss some complaints but after leaving several messages on her machine or with office staff, she still hasn't bothered to call me back. If you want a good Doctor, sometimes you have to deal with less than stellar office staff. Or you could just go somewhere else if you don't tolerate that well. Just my .02. read more

Love this office! I have personally seen multiple doctors including the NP and she was absolutely the sweetest. Dr Riggan has been my primary doctor in the office for years and I love him. He's very knowledgeable and caring. I've been to this office for over 6 years now and will not be leaving any time soon. I have referred them to multiple friends and family and they are all pleased with them! read more

Just moved to Tennessee and they were able to get me an appointment within a month for an annual check up. Although the office was difficult to find, I was greeted upon entering reception. I waited no more than 10 minutes. Dr. Gunder was very sweet and listened to my questions. Never did I feel rushed. I was in and out of the office in less than 45 minutes! I couldn't believe it. Definitely made an appointment for next year. Very impressed! I haven't had this wonderful of an experience with a medical office in 15 years. read more

I hate to have to take away a star but it's become necessary. Dr. Riggan and his nurses Theresa and his triage nurse Amanda/Mandy are still the best, truly wonderful people. Love Dr. Riggan so much, best doctor ever. So my stars are for all of them. But the actual office and office staff? Jesus take the wheel! In the last 6 months it's become a complete and utter hot mess. I had been hearing this from friends for awhile but have been able to shrug it off. Now that I'm there for pregnancy though? No shrugging it off. On a Tuesday there was no office manager or assistant manager available, I still haven't gotten a call back from the billing department 6 months later, several staff are showing the stress with rudeness and major attitude. Patient restrooms are sometimes a disaster with no Ob wipes, no urine sample cups or toilet paper (2 occasions recently). They almost never pick up the phone anymore. As a result messages to various departments are ignored and go unreturned repeatedly. And forget surgery/ob scheduling ever knowing what scheduling is doing and so good luck getting in for your early scheduled OB appointments, mine got pushed out further and then rescheduled to accommodate surgery changes the day of my appointment. They then acted like they were doing me a huge favor when they split up my 3 appointments the day of said appointments, and canceling my first as I arrived in the parking lot?! To accommodate surgery because of their lack of communication between departments. And ultrasound? The ultrasound department doesn't know what anyone else is doing and sometimes not even what they are suppose to be doing. And referrals? Still waiting weeks later and so I'll miss out on recommended testing because my window is swiftly closing because they could not be bothered to make my appointment. It it wasn't for knowing that my doctor was one of the best in the area and how crappy the others are at the neighboring practice I would be long gone like several of my friends. So if you decide to use Bluegrass please proceed with caution since the wheels have really fallen off in the last 6 months. read more

This morning I had an appointment at Dr. Babb's office. The office staff was kind and friendly. Pat was the nurse that called me back to be seen by Lauren. She was very personable. When we were in the exam rm she introduced herself. It was refreshing. Most often I have to ask for their name. Pat took my vitals and asked the standard questions. She told me that she needed a picture. I took off my mask and that is when we started to giggle. After 3 tries we got it. Pat left and then Lauren came in with a big smile on her face. She introduced herself and made me feel very comfortable. We had a conversation about my symptoms and decided on the best treatment. I am so glad my PCP referred me to them. read more

I love Dr. Regan but the receptionist there has ALWAYS been rude. If you don't call a procedure it's exact name then she plays dumb and says they won't do that there. I told her I needed to get my exam after 3 years postpartum and she said that's way too late and they wont do that. I asked why they don't do pap smears and then she was "well yeah we DO that but that's called a WELLNESS CHECK." Sorry lady, I dont work in the medical field and I don't know the specific names of appointments. She booked me out 2 months and when I said I really needed to see someone sooner because my breast has become tender and sore to the touch out of nowhere she replied with, "Go see your general practitioner if you want but I have no idea what they can do for you," then hung up on me. It's a good thing I was able to get in with my normal doctor the same day and I'm not scheduled for my first mammogram next week no thanks to this rude receptionist. read more

Don't go here. The office is a pain in the butt. You wait forever, the front office doesn't know anything, and try getting someone on the phone, it's impossible. Scheduling is only at the doctor's convenience, not the patient's. They must think people having babies don't work.... read more

Just want to say Dr riggins delivered my last child, now 5, and I could not have asked for a better ob. Although ob visits can get awkward sometimes he always hired astound with us to make us feel comfortable, I had a really horrible pregnancy as far as pain and just sick sick sick but he always made sure to find the source of the problem and fix it as safely as possible, would recommend this office 100 times over read more

Dr Babb is the #1 doctor in her field for a reason. She is the best person I have ever had the priviledge to know. She is caring. She has a wonderful personality. She goes above and beyond. My only regret is the fact that Bluegrass OB/GN no longer has an agreement with BCBS "S". I am so upset about this. She was kind enough to recommend 2 other GYN doctors in my area. If you are reading this, please know that you could not find another physician in this field to take care of you to the extent Dr Babb does. Sandy J read more

Didn't get a chance to see a doctor but their receptionist was rude, short and didn't help provide any guidance to support me.

I delivered my first child last year in 2017 the doctor I had was Tammy Bab for one she was very antisocial seemed uninterested talking to me and my husband Most of the things other then basically telling me i was getting to fat every visit with out any tips or help on how to help me when asked I had to look up Everything myself before hand and id get the reply Oh that's the likely case it always felt I was diagnosing my self and didn't need a doctor the entire pregnancy hell we actually had to get upset to make sure she delivered the baby Atlest. Another issue we experienced ultra sounds there was absolutely *nothing* wrong with my daughter we had to miss work A lot...for them I had multiple ultrasounds all the way till her birth with out proper reasons why and when we asked it was always to get a picture they couldn't get before (totaly understand its hard to see everything) how ever they STOPED when we switched insurance near the end and the front desk actually said loudly when she saw the change in front of others in the waiting room "So sorry you lost your really good insurance." Like oh thanks for assuming I Lost it vs switched and Gee now we know why you guys keep calling us in money grubbing very...greedy clinic. finally I delivered early my baby was 35 weeks when I delivered I carried her 5cm dilated for almost 2 weeks before they decided to induce. Oh and the nurse told the doctor the baby head was low when checked again it was still pretty high up but they took her any way and we stayed an entire week in the hospital (ignored and unmonitored) fallowed by my baby having to come back after we finally made it home when i made a statement to staff that she was yellowish then returning she was in a incubator one night over heating as I repeatedly had to tell them it was to hot and she was dripping in sweat there warning light was even on I actually had to remove my baby from the incubator as we were ignored for 20 -30 minuets like that I will never deliver another baby there or use that clinic again. read more
