It would have been nice if they had more selections to eat at the turn but the course gets high marks from me and it was nice to see people actually working on the upkeep of the course. I was unprepared for the rolling tree framed vista enough to make any Midwesterner boasting of their backyard blush. I am still new to this silly real estate discussion disguised as a sport however it began to grow on me being able to slow down and take in the scenes. We did time our outing perfectly, right off a week of excessive rain, everything was brilliantly green and putting through golden hour helped us ignore the amateur arrangement of this setup. I'm sure this is near the bottom of options for professionals and sorely needs to fix those eye sores along with enhancing their drink options to happily treat more appetites. But try Fairlakes with low expectations! Pro shop quite kind…read more Had a little trouble finding our way as it was the first time on this particular course asked several of the workers and they were more than happy to direct us to the next tea and explain some of the nuances of the course. Which is way more than you find at most places. Usually you're lucky if you find a finger pointing in the direction you need to go & a grunt. Here they happily tell you and smile as well.

Lucy was wonderful when I called for a tee time making sure I understood they only take cash but did have an ATM onsite if I need it. When I showed up Lucy explained how to find the first tee box and that tee box of hole nine would be a shot over the road. Lucy's friendliness and willingness to help is service I've only seen at a high-end course. I would definitely recommend!
