I had good overall experience with the staff, met my needs and were friendly. I plan to return if needed.

So it is great that these folks are available to give quick strep tests and such, but woe to you…read morewho have them mess up on the financial side. I had my son in onAugust 2 for a strep test. Although according to our insurance company we were fully paid on both our deductible and our maximum out of pocket. However Minute Clinic insisted we had not met our deductible. My son needed to be seen. We'd been waiting already so I paid using my HSA card. I asked the nurse practitioner before I used it, "So, when y'all figure out that you need to give me a refund you will be able to credit it back to my card right?" "Oh yes" she assured me and she even gave me the billing department number. So when I returned home, I dutifully called the billing department where I was met with "Oh you've met your maximum out of pocket, but you've not met your deductible so we will go ahead and submit this, but you might not get a refund. Oh and no if we refund you, we only send checks." I insist on speaking to a supervisor who after explaining to them that the funds came using an HSA debit card promised that they would refund them to the HSA. Thank you, hello, can you say tax nightmare if they don't. Anyway the supervisor suggested that I call our insurance company. After much discussion between CVS pharmacy (the parent company), my insurance company, and I. The issue that caused Minute Clinic to think I owed money when I did not was resolved. That was about a month ago and over 10 hours of my time invested. The insurance company was also given assurances that the money would be refunded to our HSA. Fast forward to today, nearly 2 months later, we receive a refund check in the mail from Minute Clinic. So, I call and after 20 minutes on hold I finally speak to a representative who promptly informs me that it is impossible for them to refund to an HSA. When I insist that it is in fact possible if they simply choose to do so, she tells me absolutely not. So, I insist on speaking to a supervisor. I explain the situation to the supervisor and explain to her that our HSA being managed through an out of state employer does not have a system for me to make deposits as the money in is through pay toll deduction and also because hey it is an HSA and there are actually restrictions on deposits as well as withdrawals. She looks at the record of this incident and says "oh yeah you are right." "Well we are always willing to refund directly to HSAs and FSAs. We'll cancel the check and you should have the money credited by next Wednesday." Please think about perhaps educating your front line representative about this rather than them insisting that this is not possible. In reality it is a way for them to hold your money longer, because the credit/debit card refunds go through nearly instantaneously whereas the snail mail check gives them almost 30 days min, because first you have to wait for their next check cut cycle and then it has to go through the mail and probably takes you a few days to get by to deposit it. We shall see, if it is, it will have taken a full 2 months to receive a proper refund.

I was not happy at all with my current NP at MN Health Fairview, Maplewood so thought I'd give…read moreHerself a try (Roseville location). I was very pleased. I was hesitant I'll admit, thinking I needed to stay in the normal environment of clinic/hospital atmosphere. Herself has a different vibe and because it's new, I was a little fearful I was making a mistake going against the "normal" expectations of where to go. I hope that makes sense. My PA is Julie, she was awesome. My first visit was the consultation, this took aprox 90 minuets and the visit with Julie went well. She took her time, listened to me, and gave me undivided attention. I went back for labs, which I was in and out within 30 min, then back the following week for my annual/wellness visit. Again, Julie took her time with me, gave me more of an exam then I've ever had at my previous "wellness exams". She did not make me feel rushed, answered all my questions. I will be sticking with Herself and Julie as my primary clinic and PA.

I dreaded any thought of having to "go to the Dr" everything from scheduling appt (two weekw out) to repeating your issues several times during a scheduling call etc. Looking for something different I came across some ad (prob FB) and was a little skeptical especially after some of these reading reviews. I am happy to say after I completed my first visit (consultation) was extremely pleased with Office exp, Quality and Type of care (1 hr plus visit) and attention that I rec'd from my new PA Julie. Everyone from the front receptionist, care coordinator & others that I met were great! I will not hesitate to post any negative exp or reviews but am looking forward to hopefully referring HERSELF Health as my new health care and wellness clinic!!

The registration process was fairly seamless, and the doctors were kind and focused on my children's experience. When we took my youngest child, it was a little bumpy, or than when we took my oldest last night. However, in both instances, the doctors were beyond excellent. The nurses were kind and responsive as well, but the bedside manner of the doctors was what stood out this trip. One concern I do want to notice is that there seems to be a glitch in their medication ordering system, which did not permit the nurse to get the medication needed within a timely manner. Apparently, this has been going on for days and the health staff have brought this forward for internal review multiple times. I hope this gets fixed as it does.
