The private chef who comes in to cook if you want is well worth it at least for one evening. The view is spectacular and the deck very nice. The Villa for the price and advertisement as five star not at all what it should be! Pool was not clean and took half the week to get it working properly. Linens were not clean nor were the baths and floors and some of the walls had mold and bothered our allergies. It was ok and certainly livable but not at all what a well traveled adult would expect for the price and the only explanation was that it was rented to much to have time to maintain - wow!! St John is a must do - so many nice things to do, the people are just the best, and I feel like there are super places to stay there - going to look into the live-a-boards!

Close enough to downtown but far enough away from the hustle. The room with the double beds was great for our two young sons. Kitchen and living room was great for indoor family time. Bummer one of the outside swings were broken. Could have used another cooler and some updated chairs for the beach, but those are minor issues. The owner was a pleasure to deal with and was very responsive. We would definitely consider renting here again.

We were greeted with a taxi, who whisked us to Red Hook to catch the boat to St John. We were met on St John by a lovely greeter, Denise who gave us keys to a Jeep we reserved. We followed her to Hawksbill villa, a couple of miles from town. Denise explained all features of the magnificent hilltop villa, gave us tourist information, showed us highlights on a map, and made us feel welcome. The return trip was equally expertly arranged. Caribbean Villas is a top notch villa operator and I would not hesitate to book with them on St John again.

Not only did they direct me to the right property but our reservation was the beginning of the Chinese Virus shut down for the Islands. No worries though, everyone at Caribbean Villas couldn't have been more accomodating to work with me rearranging our schedule around this crazy epidemic. We finally made our trip the first week of the opening of the USVI in September. The Property, Cinnamon was better than presented on their site. We had a couple of minor issues during the week and the local representatives where more than responsive in addressing our issues. I can't say enough good things about these folks at Caribbean Villas except we will be back! Thanks for a great job done and helping my family have a gathering of a life time.

Cimmaron will not take our calls or respond to texts or emails related to a bad experience we had…read moreattempting to stay at one of the properties they manage in St. John. Even the reservation host that met with us agrees we couldn't stay in the villa due to a significant mosquito infestation. Cimmaron would not remedy the issue and continue to ignore us. We will be filing a lawsuit and beware of these unethical and bad business practices they employ.

Catch n Keep is not actually in CRUZ Bay as the address avows - it is in Coral Bay, just as the map…read moreshows. WHAT A TREAT!!! Too many times have we looked for a place to stay on St John on the "less busy" (although none of the island is really "busy") side of the island and thought, "oh myyyy, what if it's in one of those less desirable areas." Well - - think that no more and book this place. We wanted to be on our favorite side of the island and this fit the bill. It is absolutely perfect for two who like a little peace and quite. Yet, it's extremely convenient to all the wonderful things in Coral Bay. Just minutes down the mountain to Love's grocer, a few mins from Salt Pond Bay for the best snorkeling you will find on island, and not far from Calabash either. Catch n Keep is supremely decorated - in fact, we realized how much we have in common with the owner by looking at all the sweet touches on the place. It's very well maintained - in PERFECT condition, and the view is breathtaking. While it's not an ocean view, you feel like you're in a tropical rain forest and that is just fabulous. We enjoyed gorgeous sunsets on the porch with wine and cheese and had early, early morning coffee with the hummingbirds to watch the sun come up out there too. The porch is a treat! Miss Judy keeps it well maintained with comfy furniture and it's super clean --- it felt just like home! And speaking of Miss Judy - She's awesome to deal with. Very responsive (in the middle of the evening when we needed to find our way in the dark, she met us at Love's to direct us to her place!), she is just below you in case you need her, but you would never know she's there. She is also very knowledgeable about the island and has tons of treats in store for you, if it's your first time. We are already planning our next St John trip in April and will stay at Catch n Keep!
