After complex back surgery, Ortho Carolina said that they would set up in-home care to change…read moredressings and help me go through the post-surgery healing. Waited and waited, but after two days recontacted Ortho Carolina to find out if Centerwell was coming, and when. Ortho's request had been submitted, so, without Centerwell's response, they resubmitted the request for services...just in time for the weekend. Centerwell apparently does not administratively process requests other than during the work week. Think about it: people get sick and injured at all hours and days of the week. If they need help, Centerwell is, in my experience, not the place to call. NOT RECOMMENDED. On Monday, after my wife tried to change dressings and with me dealing with a lot of pain and annoyance, we received a call from Centerwell advising me that Linda would be contacting me to set up an appointment for the next day, Tuesday. Linda came by, did the interview and filled out paperwork and looked at my back dressings. She and my wife removed what dressings were there and my wife followed Linda's instructions as to how to dress the wounds, setting up a follow-on visit in three days. The second visit was similar to the first. Linda advised, wife did the dressings changes. We ended the relationship with Centerwell and would not consider using them again. What a waste of our time. Not recommended at all.

At the time my 76 year old aunt was in the hospital, headed to rehab and then home ONLY if she had full time care. I received a call back within 30 min. I spoke with Rampi and she was informative, succinct and took the time to understand my/my aunts needs. While my aunt was in rehab Rampi visited my aunt and explained all the options and services of Brightstar. My aunt met with 2 other in home care service providers as well. Rampi's follow up to me and to my aunt was exceptional and, not surprisingly, my aunt chose to go with Brightstar. On the day my aunt transferred to home (from rehab) Brightstar team members were there to steward the transition. A nurse was on hand to oversee medication and make sure my aunt was safe and also comfortable. One week into the in home care Rampi did a follow up with me and my aunt to check in and see how things were going. Three weeks in there was an incident, caused by my aunt, that put the Brightstar care giver in a tough position. The issue was resolved within an hour and I got a call from Rampi letting me know what happened, why and the outcome. The next day, when I spoke with my aunt, she relayed the same information and she was pleased with how everything was handled. Honestly, my aunt has very high standards for everything. She is critical and shares her feelings. She doesn't like people in her home (except for a visit) and to hear her praise the in home caregiver and the company was amazing. I was totally shocked and frankly so relieved that she liked the caregiver team, Rampi, the nurse etc. I am thrilled with the service Brightstar has provided me and my aunt. One last note, I live across the country and so finding an organization I could trust was key. I found it. Thank you Brightstar and Rampi!!!

The aids are always Quitting due to the lack of communication. Nurses as well. My husband was left alone several times. No show of aidscomming to the home and not a call from the office unless I called the office. Annessa the Scueduler is rude and not equipped for the position . The owner Rampi never returns calls. I wouldn't recommend this so called agency to anyone.
