My wife and two older kids went on a trail ride while my two younger kids rode in the arena and were given instructions to know how to control the horses and give them commands. The other guide seemed to be rather mean with the horses.i didn't catch his name, as after he came over and interrupted while I was spending time with a horse to show someone how "if a horse likes you you can do whatever to it" and while he was roughing up the horses, the horse got nippy with him and he hit him pretty hard on the nose. If it weren't for the second guides actions it would have been a perfect 5 star visit but I can't overlook those actions.

We had to reschedule a few times, due to storms and a couple in our party getting sick, and texts/calls were not answered in a timely manner. Jim (owner) was mostly vacant - after collecting money, never to be seen again. We learned that she did not receive the tip we left, so please be aware, and hand your tips to their intended recipient - don't leave them in the room! Laura and the horses are the only reason this place survives. Without her, the outlook would be very bleak. The stars given are directly due to Laura.
