But since coming to this spot, I can now compare of how the standards of a laundry facility should be! Ok, let me start of with the owner, the boss lady. She is the most adorable, most pleasant, most helpful little lady. The place is also spic and span. When you think of a place to wash and dry your clothes... they are supposed to be clean. Most places I've been to before are so dirty!! Around 9p is when thr staff cleans the place. Ive seen them not only clean every washer and drying and everything else around, but do it a second time. Hey, thr cleaner the better. This place is also cool in the summers and warm during the winters. This place also provides 4 TVs and wifi. As far as pricing, they are reasonable. $6.75 for 6 loads and $0.25 for 15 mins of drying. $2.00 for 2 loads. Highly reommended.

When I came last time, the fans weren't on either and it was also hot but not as hot as it is today. I had dropped off at least 5 winter coats that needed to have buttons sewn back on or secured. Well, many fell off or weren't secured properly. Still went back. Sometimes garments came back not properly pressed. They would press again, at my request. Sooo, after Covid we still wanted this business to survive ( my husband and I both own businesses .) So, the reason I'm writing this review. We dropped off a shirt, that was still wrinkled, with a note stating pants are missing. Ok, things happen. These pants were worn once. They were going to look for them. After multiple times of visiting the cleaners. No pants. The employee at the front called multiple times to the OWNER! He never bothered to make any contact. So much for supporting him. So, in my opinion, you can't afford to lose one customer. However, he's losing our family. So, read this, make your own decision, but I think the experience was the owner not caring about a customer. Dumb move.

!!!STEER CLEAR!!! They ruined my Ralph Lauren suit pants and refused to reimburse me. Its a…read morelong-winded story, so bear with me. I brought a pair of pants in to be hemmed. The seamstress did not do her due diligence and remove the tape i had in place to show where the hem needed to be. They went ahead and hemmed the pants with the tape still on, then dry cleaned and steam-pressed the pants. This made the tape crinkle and and made the bottom of the pant legs horrible looking. The owner of the store actually gave them back to me without mentioning how terrible they looked, probably hoping I wouldn't notice. When I got them home, my stomach dropped and i brought them right back the following day. I had them try to fix the issue, which took a week, and again they gave me back the pants looking exactly the same. They refunded my money for the alteration (which was extraordinarily expensive in my opinion, $11.50 for a hem is ridiculous) and I left with my pants. I brought them to another tailor to try to fix them and was advised that the pants were ruined and would need to be hemmed higher in order to fix the issue. I am not one to wear high-waters, so i opted to purchase a new paid of pants. Thankfully, they were still available at the retailer. I contacted John (the owner) again to request reimbursement for the pants, and he told me it was my fault for using the tape, and that he would not reimburse me for the pants. He went on to say that they have had this issue in the past, and the same outcome. When i questioned why they would continue to hem pants leaving the tape in place, he told me it is not their job to remove the tape. Totally unacceptable. Horrible approach to customer service. I will never use their facility again for laundry or dry cleaning. Side note: About 6 months ago i brought in a few dress shirts to launder myself. Washed them in a washing machine, then placed them in a dryer for 5 minutes just to release the wrinkles. When I got them out of the dryer, there were black marks (what looked like magic marker) all over all of my shirts, some worse than others. They kept the shirts and attempted to clean them, but were unable. I didn't ask for it, but they also didn't offer any type of reimbursement for them either. It was around 5 or 6 shirts, at an average of $30 a shirt and $100 for the pants, this place has cost me $280. Their so called low prices are not worth ruining your clothing over. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Five Stars Plus -- If I Could Give More, I Would…read more If you're looking for a clean, modern laundromat with wash-and-fold service in Brick, New Jersey, Laundry King on Drum Point Road is hands down the place to go. Due to serious issues with my washer, dryer, and electrical problems at home, doing laundry became nearly impossible. After my washer flooded my home multiple times and eventually caught fire, I was left with weeks upon weeks of laundry to wash and months worth that had to be rewashed. Walking into a laundromat with that amount of laundry gave me extreme anxiety and embarrassment, especially as a single mother of two working two jobs with no help. From the moment I walked into Laundry King, Anthony and his staff were welcoming, kind, and incredibly helpful. Over the course of about two and a half weeks they washed and folded over 200 pounds of clothing and bedding for me, including several large blankets. Every time I dropped laundry off, Anthony would personally call the same day or just hours later to say it was ready. The service, care, and professionalism were incredible. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. I highly recommend Laundry King to anyone looking for a laundromat or wash-and-fold service in Brick, NJ.
