A very quiet personable young lady who gets amused by my reflex reaction to the dermal abrasion to the bottom of my feet. I'm ticklish and I think she looks forward to my next booking. I only get the pedicure. I'm a retired auto mechanic but still working part time. That's a Florida thing. Went to get a mani pedi one afternoon two hours before the posted hours of operation says the close. Doors were all locked. I knocked, no one answered. Sign OPEN was illuminated. I looked inside saw a couple people sitting doing nails so I called. The woman says they are closed. I got there around 5pm, they close at 7pm. She says they don't have enough staff so they closed the shop for the day??? This seems to happen a lot in the Port Richey area with businesses. Especially in that particular business plaza. People either don't have enough staff to stay open and provide a service or product or they close completely to the public. read more

She is so careful and takes her time and she is very gentle. She always makes sure to do a perfect job. I had Rodney 2x and although he is very funny, he hurts me. I went here today I thought I would be really impressed with everything, Rodney is funny but rough he was laughing at a teen girls eyebrows because they were bushy and she was trying to wax them. Rodney filed really hard to where my nail started bleeding and he didn't even care. Later on my nails start burning really bad it felt like fire was burning my nails. I do not recommend!! read more

Unfortunately 2 of them broke on the 2nd day of having them because they were a little to thin, so I went in with the nail and explained that to them. Nail tech Tran was so defensive I used to work for a salon so I understand the feeling and I was as pelite as possible but sheesh. She got really rude. Fixed it for free at least, I quote her "for free this time" but left me with an uneven HUGE thumb nail. Paid over 60 dollars, more then average. Wasn't worth the money won't be back!!! I was a long time customer until recently. I think the manager (Heidi) needs to work on her customer service techniques. The reviews below that mention her getting verbally abusive with clients are accurate. I've witnessed it first hand several times. I witnessed her arguing and talking rudely to clients, and talking about other clients with me. I overlooked that behavior, because I really enjoyed visiting Jesse, Teresa (nail techs) and Jacky (Pedicure)... but when Heidi turned on me and became argumentative with me after years of patronage, I decided to change salons. My new salon is in a whole other league, so I'd never consider returning to Blue Water. Service quality can vary greatly based on which technician you get. I recommend Jesse (nails), Teresa (nails and waxing) and Jacky (pedicure). They are terrible with time management. They often overbook the salon, overlapping appointments and not allowing enough time to finish prior appointments while fitting in walk-in clients. You may have to wait some time even if you've made an appointment. The quality of service varies greatly day to day. On weekends you're more likely to get a rush job, whereas, you'll get better service on weekdays. They use cheese graters to remove callused skin from feet during pedicures, which can leave you with small cuts that aren't always immediately obvious. Facials done by Heidi are not 'spa' quality and you'll be disappointed if you're accustomed to spa quality facials. They are fairly hygienic, using single use products and sterilizing tools. The salon is generally clean and organized and they have a lot of nail colors to choose from. read more

Heidi was very rude to me today! I have a small business and realize how important customer service is. I had two appts- A Deluxe pedi with Ten An acrylic fill with gel manicure with Heidi Nail salons are a luxury, so I was looking forward to both of my appts and downtime after suffering from Cancer. While Ten was starting his pedi, Heidi sat next to me in the next chair and filed all nail with motorized implements while chanting "relax your hands" a million times- which became too much at times! I asked her to wait to polish my nails at the desk and dry in the machine until after my pedi.. after all- I had TWO appointments! A few months Mr R cut my toe by taking out a in grown nail as he said it bleed really bad and then a few days later I got a terrbile infection that never healed for two months. He is also rude and yells at customers that I witnessed and he was swearing at some lady and told her never to come back in not so many nice words. Went in for a fill and pedicure. The fill was fine. But a first for me was that I was charged to "remove gel polish" on both my nails and toes. I've had mani/pedi's religiously since I was in high school and never gave been charged to remove polish- it's part of the service.. the owner said it's not fair to clients who have regular polish on since it could take up to 30 min to remove. I'm sorry but never has it taken more then 5 min to remove gel polish. They drill it off and keep it moving. Not only that but was only offered gel polish and couldn't do regular polish??? After I got home I was able to actually look at my feet and my heels are horrible. They use a cheese grater and my feet definitely look like a botched job. Totally not worth the $45 pedicure plus $20 gel polish. read more

I was shown the menu to pick which pedicure I wanted and I picked the most basic $25 I believe on the paper menu. I was there for 20 mins and I had it chip already. When I cashed out they said it was $29. When I asked why they said oh that menu is old. I said why are you using it?
