I appreciate Rose's attention to detail. I received a French Manicure yellow). The shop, for me, is cluttered and doesn't give "relax" vibes. There's a little dog that's usually present. I'm NOT a fan!! The shop is close, and the prices are affordable! read more

This place is great! Friendly and family like atmosphere with amazing artistic abilities. They always work to get you the nails you want and at the prices you need. While having great products to browse and buy. Quality wise, every nail tech cares to make sure they don't cut you, there's no fuzzies in the paint, and there's no excess acrylic or glue under the nail. I can't say all these wonderful things at the same time about any other nail salon. Thank you guys! Keep on being Awesome! read more

I love the ease of booking an appointment and requesting my technician of choice. I ask for " Rose". A very quiet personable young lady who gets amused by my reflex reaction to the dermal abrasion to the bottom of my feet. I'm ticklish and I think she looks forward to my next booking. I only get the pedicure. I'm a retired auto mechanic but still working part time. That's a Florida thing. I got introduced to pedicures by a fellow mechanic in Maryland and have been getting them monthly since the first time. As I get older my toes get further out of reach. Meeting the World on a daily basis begins with the right foundation. That's the feet you're standing on. Having good fitting and quality foot wear and a good pedicure to fit in them and anything is possible . That's why I go to Blue Water Nails in Port Richey on Regency Blvd. read more

Place is horrible nail tech is very rude never seen a nail tech nic her fingers so much to the point where she's gotta stop the session multiple times. Absolutely disgusting how they talk to the clients "oh but I don't make you bleed though" who says that don't come here read more

Went to get a mani pedi one afternoon two hours before the posted hours of operation says the close. Doors were all locked. I knocked, no one answered. Sign OPEN was illuminated. I looked inside saw a couple people sitting doing nails so I called. The woman says they are closed. I got there around 5pm, they close at 7pm. She says they don't have enough staff so they closed the shop for the day??? This seems to happen a lot in the Port Richey area with businesses. Especially in that particular business plaza. People either don't have enough staff to stay open and provide a service or product or they close completely to the public. read more

I moved to Florida 4 years ago. Blue Water nails is right across the street from me, so I gave it a try. The first person that ever did my services there was Jessie. Jessie is the BEST!!! She is so careful and takes her time and she is very gentle. She always makes sure to do a perfect job. I had Rodney 2x and although he is very funny, he hurts me. He massages your legs and feet very hard and rough. I will continue to get my pedicures, manicures and waxing services at Blue Water Nails. read more

I went here today I thought I would be really impressed with everything, Rodney is funny but rough he was laughing at a teen girls eyebrows because they were bushy and she was trying to wax them. Rodney filed really hard to where my nail started bleeding and he didn't even care. Later on my nails start burning really bad it felt like fire was burning my nails. I do not recommend!! read more

Was charged 45 dollars but gave her a 15 dollar tip because she took her time and she was so nice! Unfortunately 2 of them broke on the 2nd day of having them because they were a little to thin, so I went in with the nail and explained that to them. Nail tech Tran was so defensive I used to work for a salon so I understand the feeling and I was as pelite as possible but sheesh. She got really rude. Fixed it for free at least, I quote her "for free this time" but left me with an uneven HUGE thumb nail. Paid over 60 dollars, more then average. Wasn't worth the money won't be back!!! So unprofessional. If your looking for a nail salon I'd go to boutique nails in Trinity. Same cost and more luxurious UPDATE: 2 more different nails fell off 4 nails total in less then a week read more

Called around and this place would take me right in for a pedicure. Not sure of the prices in the area but was $27 for a regular pedicure. They have tons of chairs so could probably do a party. It was very relaxing, gave me a nice foot massage and told me to sit in the chair longer for another back massage. Nice clean place and the employees are so nice and funny. I would come back. read more

Owner gives away your appointments even when you use the same person everytime. Very unprofessional and will not be returning.

Rodney is the best ... great pedicure and manicure.... Pressure massage was on point ... very relaxing

I was a long time customer until recently. I think the manager (Heidi) needs to work on her customer service techniques. The reviews below that mention her getting verbally abusive with clients are accurate. I've witnessed it first hand several times. I witnessed her arguing and talking rudely to clients, and talking about other clients with me. I overlooked that behavior, because I really enjoyed visiting Jesse, Teresa (nail techs) and Jacky (Pedicure)... but when Heidi turned on me and became argumentative with me after years of patronage, I decided to change salons. My new salon is in a whole other league, so I'd never consider returning to Blue Water. Service quality can vary greatly based on which technician you get. I recommend Jesse (nails), Teresa (nails and waxing) and Jacky (pedicure). They are terrible with time management. They often overbook the salon, overlapping appointments and not allowing enough time to finish prior appointments while fitting in walk-in clients. You may have to wait some time even if you've made an appointment. The quality of service varies greatly day to day. On weekends you're more likely to get a rush job, whereas, you'll get better service on weekdays. They use cheese graters to remove callused skin from feet during pedicures, which can leave you with small cuts that aren't always immediately obvious. Facials done by Heidi are not 'spa' quality and you'll be disappointed if you're accustomed to spa quality facials. They are fairly hygienic, using single use products and sterilizing tools. The salon is generally clean and organized and they have a lot of nail colors to choose from. read more

My first and last time coming here... my feet get rough patches on my heal, ect from the job I do so I always get a pedicure to get those rough patches smooth again ,well they never even scrubed ,filed any of those spots ,just toe nails and rubbing lotion and massaging feet.. I figured I would try a new place out.. nope ..I will stick to the place I normally go.. now I gotta spend twice the money and go to my place to it done correctly read more

Heidi was very rude to me today! I have a small business and realize how important customer service is. I had two appts- A Deluxe pedi with Ten An acrylic fill with gel manicure with Heidi Nail salons are a luxury, so I was looking forward to both of my appts and downtime after suffering from Cancer. While Ten was starting his pedi, Heidi sat next to me in the next chair and filed all nail with motorized implements while chanting "relax your hands" a million times- which became too much at times! I asked her to wait to polish my nails at the desk and dry in the machine until after my pedi.. after all- I had TWO appointments! She got up and walked away and never completed my manicure.. so unprofessional .. totally shocked at her behavior - beware! read more

Soooo..I have been getting mani/pedis for many years and have never been argued with on my color choice before this salon. After I picked out a cute neon beach color, the tech starts polishing the color and then says "it's too light" pick another color. Excuse me, I am not paying for you to decide my color choice and won't be coming back! read more

My nail tech is not at this location any more kinds disappointed. Wasn't to happy with the price increase either

Went in for a fill and pedicure. The fill was fine. But a first for me was that I was charged to "remove gel polish" on both my nails and toes. I've had mani/pedi's religiously since I was in high school and never gave been charged to remove polish- it's part of the service.. the owner said it's not fair to clients who have regular polish on since it could take up to 30 min to remove. I'm sorry but never has it taken more then 5 min to remove gel polish. They drill it off and keep it moving. Not only that but was only offered gel polish and couldn't do regular polish??? After I got home I was able to actually look at my feet and my heels are horrible. They use a cheese grater and my feet definitely look like a botched job. Totally not worth the $45 pedicure plus $20 gel polish. read more

I had to find another nail salon as this salon went down hill. A few months Mr R cut my toe by taking out a in grown nail as he said it bleed really bad and then a few days later I got a terrbile infection that never healed for two months. He is also rude and yells at customers that I witnessed and he was swearing at some lady and told her never to come back in not so many nice words. The owner is always rude when I call to make an appointment. So long Blue water nails I found a better place and it's cheaper and they are very nice peace out read more

Best gel manicure I've had in a long time, and they recognized my grandma when we walked in. They are taking their time with her and she comes all the time. Excellent mani/pedi!! Impeccable customer service! I highly recommend Blue Eater Nails.

I use to go here all the time for years. Slowly I've gone to other places. I went the other day and was reminded why I went somewhere else. I was shown the menu to pick which pedicure I wanted and I picked the most basic $25 I believe on the paper menu. I was there for 20 mins and I had it chip already. When I cashed out they said it was $29. When I asked why they said oh that menu is old. I said why are you using it? I still paid the $29 but I won't be back after this disappointing treatment read more

Poor business. Told my mother she couldn't come here for service anymore for no apparent reason. Quality of work started going downhill after gift cards were purchased. I guess greed got the better of them here and they thought they didn't need to do good work anymore since they already had money in their hand. They always rush to push you out the door. QUANTITY OVER QUALITY. Avoid and find a new nail place. read more

Only reason I am giving two stars is for the salon being clean and does not smell like chemical. I will not be returning and do not understand the good reviews. This is the only nail salon I have ever went to where a pedicure does not come with a massage. I rushed through my pedicure. I still had dirt under my nails as he was trying to put on the nail polish. The nail polish was lumpy and uneven. I had to ask to get them repainted. The woman who fixed them saw how horrible it was and recut my toe nails, cleaned them, and repainted. She also is another reason why I am giving another star. J&J nails is 100% better and I will be going there forever. Their prices actually match the service. The price does not match the service for here. read more

The picture i attached has what i wanted on the left and what i received on the right. I walked in with pretty high expectations after seeing the google reviews and hearing from the cutomers in the salon that they do amazing jobs. I left disappointed and angry and $50 poorer. First of all I walked in at 10:45 and was not sat down until 11:10, this wasnt an issue as they looked relatively busy. I showed her the design and we were on our way. She put my tips on and i said i wanted them a little shorter than the picture and she proceeded to cut almost down to the finger, I didnt want to be disrespectful so I said it was fine even though i knew the design would be an issue with hiw short she cut them. Second of all she laid the acrylic on wayyyyy too thick. I thought she might take some off when they pat it down or file but she did neither. She went to paint them and restarted the design 3 times before pushing me off to her coworker saying "Your nail too short" WELL OBVIOUSLY! Her colleague did the best she could but left so much grey from wiping the black design off so many times and never once fixed it by redoing the white. The two of them scratched my nail beds so many times that I thought I might bleed and by the time it was finished my fingers were red and raw by the cuticles and it was 12:50 pm. I spent 2 hours and $49 to get my nails done the wrong way and because I grew up believing you tip for a service I gave her a small tip. But I honestly regret even stopping in here and I should have just gone to J&J nails where I know what kind of service I'll be receiving, the prices of those services and where it'll be done correctly the first time. 2 stars for the cleanliness and the fact that it didnt smell immediately like chemicals as soon as you walk in. read more
