I have the mentality that if I am going to go relax, I want to shuffle back to my room in my robe and slippers. I was very pleasantly surprised. I had a stretching massage followed by a facial. I can not say enough kind words about Dawn. She truly is the best! She has experience through her time spent under a dermatologist, which I truly value. Dawn is always very warm and welcoming to help you relax, you quickly find yourself restful and at peace while she works her magic. Never had I felt unsure of what services to elect, I always let Dawn advise what is best. I never feel pressured to try or buy anything. Hands down I have been won over from my previous thought about spas.

When I realized my mistake I decided to give them a second chance, hoping that the poor experience was the groupon 'budget' choice. The second time I paid full price for a Oxygen Infusion Facial and I received similar mediocre facial. I've had spa facials every few months for the last 10 years, and this has to be one of my least favorite experiences. If you're accustomed to spa facials, this is not up to par. Dianne is a little too heavy handed and jerky (not smooth movements) in her facial massage. On the second visit I was very clear with her about my expectations, specifying the areas I wanted her to focus on (based on my prior experience with her), and she listened but did not follow through. At the end of my second facial with her, I was as disappointed as the first experience. I don't think I should have to go home after a facial and extract noticeable blackheads... I feel like the facial should be more thorough than that... The spa area is clean and organized. She plays relaxing music and is not overly talkative. You can definitely relax in her studio.... BUT, if you're looking for a gentle, smooth facial massage or thorough extractions, this is not the place.
