We were recommended Blue Trinity by our wedding planner. Prior to our wedding communication was great, we made payment on time. We meet in person day of our wedding, assistant and her stayed for the whole contracted time. Sadly I have more disappointment then positive recommendations. After the wedding the communication dropped. Multiple emails and reassurances and the request for our mailing address multiple times. We got our wedding video 15months after our wedding. As we sit and watch it I find the video has great points, till I find she clipped ANOTHER COUPLES WEDDING in our video. I assume it was a few seconds here, but it's multiple clips about 2minutes of another couples wedding shot at a winery and gray tux. Unfortunately we took our video near the beach and old town San Diego. Oh and I was in uniform and had hair. The editing of putting the words "Ceremony" and other words in the video is like a 80's auto video club edit. I was beyond disappointed with the video we received. They even missed spelled my wife's name on the cover of all the videos they sent as well. I cannot recommend Blue Trinity Films for your special day. Our money was taken and what was promised versus what was delivered was substandard. Don't be fooled. This is the company that used to be NR3 Film productions. In 2014-2016 they took money and shot at least a dozen weddings and they never delivered the videos. It took us almost a year to get our video, after several fights and legal action threats. We went back and forth and back and forth with Norma promising me I'd get my video but the date kept passing. Normal was full of excuses and eventually told me her ex husband (who was half owner of NR3) was holding the footage hostage. The video is edited so poorly and obviously rushed (even using the same song twice in a row). I have a least 20 messages in my inbox after people saw my previous review of NR3. My husband and I were recommended to Blue Trinity Films by wedding planner who had worked with her in the past and told us she's one of the best. Unfortunately, we were so disappointed by our experience. I saw the reviews on Yelp and wedding wire but I decided to ignore them because we've received some of the best recommendations from our wedding planner while planning our wedding. So here it goes.. This is long. We met Norma and her assistant on the day of our wedding. She was responsive to our e-mails and payments. She was very nice and i've seen some of her videos online in the past and they were great. She stayed for the full amount of time that was on contract. Unfortunately, that was the only good thing we could say about her. After the wedding (April 23, 2016), we contacted her on May 22, 2016 to get an update on our highlights video, assuming that it would take a while longer to received the full-length film. Her response: "Hi mia flora we are near to start editing your video! Can't wait to share it! :)" ----- We hadn't heard from her for a few months since then so we decided to start contacting her regularly until we got an update.... " Norma, Do you have the highlight video available for viewing? Also, when will you be sending our DVDs? We would like tracking information once it's shipped please." We received the highlight video on May 4, 2017... Over one year after our wedding... Unfortunately it seemed as if it was made without much care or effort... I've seen video highlights from many other people's weddings and I was so sad to see that mine wasn't well put together well and it cut off abruptly. I was so sad that we spent $1250 and waited over a year for this. It was the one memory from the wedding I was most excited to see and be able to re-live the moment. I was so disappointed. We finally received our DVDs by early June 2017.. Not the greatest quality... Unfortunately she also made covers for the DVD box and spelled my name wrong. I wish I could've been the person who wrote a great review for Norma and this company considering she is a nice person and she made some great videos in the past... This of this company used to own NR3 video. Check it out on yelp. Dont be fooled by the nice edits they show, they are not at all professional. We hired them in 2015 for our wedding. Husband and wife got a divorce and now, Norma has this company. It has been 3 years now, already have a 10 month old and we still dont have our wedding video. We summoned them to court and they didnt even give us the respect to show up...we tried to give them time and worked with them, thats why it took 3 years, but now I cant even get a hold of them. I suggest going with someone else and not taking the risk. Youre wedding is once in a lifetime and you dont want it to be ruined by unprofessional people. read more

Bear with me folks as I have a lot to say. My husband and I had an Indian wedding June of 2016. My husband is Sikh and we were trying to have as traditional a ceremony as possible. We were introduced to Blue Trinity by our wedding planner. Our wedding planner informed us that she had covered other Indian weddings and she would be up for the task of covering ours. When my husband and I met Norma, she made a great impression. We really liked the quality of the cinematography. Our wedding planner had nothing but good things to say about her so we hired her. Sikh culture is full of small traditions that are really important for families to have captured. You have no idea how often these wedding videos get watched and how important weddings are. So capturing it all and capturing it the way it happens are really important. I understand Norma has a "creative vision". However, if your creative vision conflicts with what your client thinks is important, then you're not going to produce a product your client will be happy with. With that said, it took us almost 10 months to get our wedding video. There were constant messages to her and after not getting any results, I got the wedding planner involved. After getting the wedding planner involved, I got results with the video. It was horribly disappointing to watch video I received from Norma. The ceremony was everywhere. Things that should have happened in the beginning were at the end and vice versa. It didn't make any sense. The priest would be talking one minute and the next the video jumps to another section where the priest is talking about something completely different. The jumps were horribly obvious. We contacted her and told her. Got no response. Eventually, we did get a hold of her. She said she never received any complaints from us. Bullshit! I had the email to prove it and I forwarded that bad boy over to her. She did offer to edit the video again. We sat with her for a couple of hours and moved some things around. The video is still terrible. Norma may have worked other Indian weddings but she had no idea how to cover a Sikh wedding. Not all Indian weddings are the same. I thought the video couldn't get worse, I was wrong. At some point during the ceremony coverage, we caught a flash of someone else's ceremony!! No joke!! I attached a picture. Who's ceremony is that and why is it mixed in with my wedding? For those that don't know, Indian weddings are bright and colorful. Never white. It's just all really disappointing. We have the raw footage and will be sending it to someone else to see what they can do with it. Who knows how much that will cost us. Overall, Blue Trinity has nice cinematography but everything else just didn't work out for us. There is a new review that mentions Norma's "life transitions". Aka, personal problems. That neither my wedding planner or Blue Trinity ever mentioned. Had I known that someone's personal problems were going to interfere with my product, I NEVER would have hired them. Personal problems are not an excuse for subpar work. Period. How many of your employers would tolerate your personal problems getting in the way of your work? They may be patient with you for a bit but if it carries on, you would get fired. I wasn't even going to mention this but someone put it out there as an excuse for subpar work. I really don't know where I would start of. Just be prepared because I have soooooo much to say. First of all I would not recommend them to anyone!!! They are horrible with communicating with their clients. I got married last year in September 2016. We had seen her at the Bridal Bazaar in San Diego. So we hired Norma (The Blue Trinity). I think October 2015. She showed us some of the video she had done with her old company and some with her new company. My husband fell in love with her work. He did not care if the price was high. He wanted out video to look like the ones she showed us. So anyways I tried contacting her directly that whole year, but I never got a response. So then I contacted her assistant and she answered here and there. Anyways, after my wedding I tried contacting her 4 months (January 2017). I wanted see how my video was coming along I couldn't get a hold of her so I left her assistant a message so they can contact me back. Norma ended up calling me saying that my video would be ready by the mid February 2017. Before that I texted her the songs I wanted to the number on her business card, all I got back was "who's this?" So I replied explaining all my info. I never got a response. So I then decided to go on her website and sent her the same exact message I have texted her just to be sure she got it. Once again I didn't hear back. So then once again I messaged her assistant to check if norma got it. About 1 months later got an email from norma saying she never got the songs I sent her. I was already pissed at that point. So then 8 months from my wedding passed and I hadn't heard anything from them so I contacted he assistant. At this point I felt bad for her assistant well her ex assistant she had to hear all my complains, about me not yet receiving my video and norma had told me I would get it in February and it was already May. So the her ex assistant let her new assistant know to contact me. So she did and I explained everything that was going on. I looked up how long does it usually take for a wedding videographer to hand you your video it said 4-6 months. Here is we're it tipped me over the edge. That same night I talked to the new assistant they sent me the video online. Keep in mind that it had been a little past the 8 months. Anyways my husband and I started to watch the video we only watched 3 minutes of it. Half of that time was clips of another couples wedding. So I contacted the new assistant and they told me "they weren't seeing what we were" so then they were saying it was a problem with the website they uploaded the video. They ended up contacting customer service on the website were it was uploaded. Then they guy that norma had talked to called me so we can go over what was wrong. I explained and the guy saw a different couple on the video too so he said that he couldn't do anything that it was a problem with the person that uploaded the video. So I questioned myself "did they even try going back to watch the video so they can see what I am talking about". My husband didn't even want to finish watching the video he was mad that it took them long to show us the video but not only that it was I ended watching it all to see if it was only the beginning that showed a different couple. But no, I counted how many time a different couple came out my my wedding video. You won't believe it. 34 FREAKING times. 34 time a different couple came out in my video. Like WTF!!!!! So yeah I was pissed. I messaged them to fix it and if they can please change the first song on the video to another one and I told them the name and artist of the song and they told me yes that they'll do since they've costed me so much inconvenience. So I was happy that they were going to fix it. I just received my video this past week through mail it's June 2017. My husband and I started watching the video this morning and it didn't have the song that I asked them to put. So imagine how I am feeling right now. I already messaged the assistant let her know what's going on and now I am waiting on her reply..... but I would just say the videos they show are super nice. But their communication HORRIBLE honestly. read more

First off, Norma, Tricia and I love us some gap tooth baby! Second, our experience with you the day of the wedding was amazing and the videos came out perfect. I read a couple of the reviews below and I think if those clients knew about the life transitions you were going through at the time they would understand that you were doing the best you could, given the circumstances you were facing. You are an amazing and caring person and super talented and we are so happy that we hired you to do the most important video, we probably will ever pay for. One of my favorite moments of the entire wedding day (besides marrying my soulmate) was you coming in hot and bossing me around, I loved every second of it and the reason I did is because I knew that from that moment on you were clear on your vision, and had everything under control, so I didn't have to worry about anything, and I didn't think twice about the video the entire day. You were able to instill trust within minutes and I have some much gratitude that I didn't have to worry about it and in the end, the wedding was perfect and you were a part of that. My profession is video marketing and I see a ton of good video and bad video and you did an amazing job not only getting the best shots but also in post-production. You have a skill for transitions and audio editing and everything truly came out better than we expected. The amount filming you did and putting together a trailer, Instagram short and our full film it was truly a work of art. Most people in the circles I run in would charge at least 7-10K for the work you did so it was truly a bargain and we are grateful for the detail and the time you took to make sure you produced an amazing product for us.
