We both were tired from a long drive and what better way to finish the day than a flight of margaritas. A delicious sample of margaritas that were packed with tequila. Not overwhelming but very delicious. Restaurant was busy from the dinner rush, but found a table without issue. Our server was quick to get our drink order and dinner as we were looking to keep it simple. Mi Racherita has every you expect but also had a bar fife this who want to enjoy some food while enjoying good company. Food was quick, generous portions and delicious. 2/10 Unfortunately,…read morethis just wasn't for me. I was hoping for authentic Mexican flavors, but the food tasted more Mexican-inspired than traditional. The dishes lacked the bold herbs, spices, and depth of flavor I was expecting, and everything seemed very watered down. The biggest surprise was that my meal was served with coleslaw. That's not something I associate with the traditional Mexican meals I've had, and it felt really out of place. The coleslaw even had carrots mixed into it, which just added to my confusion about the overall concept. I gave it an honest try, but after this experience, I won't be returning. If you're looking for more traditional Mexican flavors, this may not be the place for you.

They immediately served salsa and chips and they were also good! We were hoping that the food would also be just as good, yet unfortunately it was not to be. My husband ordered shrimp enchiladas- they were passable in taste but prepared very simple- just not what we are used to. The beans on his plate lacked flavor and were thin in consistency. My plate was a combo of taco, enchilada and chile rellano. The taco came on a separate plate and was in a store bought shell without flavor . The enchilada was lightly rolled corn tortilla around ground beef. The rellano was breaded and was served next to it. The entire plate slathered with red sauce . The rellano breading was of good texture and the chile was good but the sauce overwhelmed it. The enchilada; I could not. A very basic corn tortilla lightly rolled around ground beef. The ground beef had the consistency of - I don't want to say. I tried it yet could only stomach a bite or two. The meat had a strange flavor - perhaps out of a can? Anyway we both agreed- we would try other restaurants if we were ever in Orange city again.
