The salsa in Chefs kiss! So good, the right amount of spice and heat, great flavor. Tastes fresh. The chimichanga was awesome, it was crunchy and soft, the meat was steeped in sauce, and the sides were great. Fries were hot when they came out, and the Mexican music is fun. 10/10 I'll be back! I visited here once before, not planning to return, but in a pinch with all the construction detours around and not wanting to venture far, I decided to give it a try again. The greeting was warm and receptive. I placed my order, and surprisingly observed one of the employees eating off a plate, with her fingers, that was in the bussing container. The food was extremely bland, and after seeing the employee snacking from customers unfinished meals, I will never return. Very unappetizing to say the least. I have never had a bad experience w/ this place. Sorry Andrew W. That stinks and I don't blame you for that review. :( However, my b/f and I go here all the time. Very fast, fresh, and tasty. Since it's one of the ONLY places in Le Mars to go to that isn't fast food, I go here at least once a week. Also, this place is CHEAP. It's ridiculous. You can easily split a meal (avg. price is about $6-$10 w/ some plates being higher) or take half home. Free chips and salsa and half the staff has us memorized. Two dishes I recommend are: -Fajitas (any kind) -Gordo Special When you dine in, you tend to get more food than take-out. Also, their flour tortillas are awesome and taste authentic. Who knows, but they sure are tasty anyways. Awesome mexican joint for this midwestern city. Way better than Negrons in Merrill. read more

La Fiesta is one of my absolute favorite places to eat here in town. The servers are always kind and the service is always super fast. Most times my family of 4 can eat here for around $30! There is a lot of variety on the menu and everything comes out quickly and piping hot. The flavors and quality of food is always consistent and you can't go wrong with the bottomless chips and salsa. The only thing I'm not fond of is the margaritas because they have that very peppery tequila taste but I'm a picker margarita lady. read more

Decided to give La Fiesta a try as we were driving through the area. The chips and salsa arrived promptly. The salsa was very mild and not very exciting so I asked if they had a hot salsa. The waiter promptly brought us some salsa verde that was much better. Some kick to it but not overly hot. We ordered the enchiladas rancheras, a beef taco and a beef enchilada. Their red sauce was a tomato based sauce rather than a red chili sauce. We both commented that it tasted Italian rather than Mexican! The taco was very average, very similar to a taco from Taco Bell. read more

Definitely a treat to go here for some legit Mexican food. Overall I am surprised at the variety they have. If you like to eat hearty I would recommend the el Torito: shrimp, steak and chicken. If you are looking for something simple yet tasty the grilled chicken tacos is always a great route. I stay in Le Mars and few times a year. My son and I decided to give this place a try. Ther service was fast and courteous. I had the steak, chicken and shrimp fajita and it was outstanding!!! great taste and presentation. Portions were above average and great taste!!
