We came here because they are connected to our favorite chicken karhi restaurant in Arlington. We ordered chicken karhi and chick peas. Each karhi is made to order. The chicken was tender and the sauce was bright however not as spicy as I'd prefer. The chick peas were creamy and the flavor was good however not as rich as my favorite favorite place in Arlington. The bread was the highlight. It's topped with sesame seeds. Hot puffy and fresh. Overall I'd say the food was a 3. The service was good. The space is clean and not too cramped. Go during a quiet time if you have a large group. I imagine it gets crowded there.

Instead of a crispy, golden brown filet, the fish was quite a bit darker and looked like it had been overcooked in old frying oil. It was seasoned with herbs, but it desperately needed salt. Taste-wise, it was just bland. The chickpeas on the side were more palatable, but the naan was a huge letdown. I've never had naan with that kind of texture. Normally, naan is chewy and spongy, but this was... not that. The texture was dry and flat, more like pita bread than naan. I really wanted to like this more than I did. It had so much potential, but unfortunately, I barely made it halfway through before tossing it.

On the good side, the food was fresh, home made with very little oil. Their platters are a great choice when you want a homestyle meal but are too lazy to cook it yourself. But,there are two areas for improvement. First, the system for finding out the daily menu is confusing. It would be much more convenient for customers if the menu was posted on their website, Instagram, and Facebook page instead of having to call and wait for it. Second, the restaurant closes quite early in the evenings at 7pm. This may be inconvenient for some customers

Made me homesick lol. Had to wait about 20 mins for food which was fine, felt longer because I was hungry but the uncle did a phenomenal job, I'm pretty sure he's making everything fresh. The place is a bit chilly inside with the fans, the tables and seating are alright but the bathrooms are sparkling clean (with lotas). I'd get this place again but take it to go because I couldn't finish the half portion either. They have free ice water next to the cutlery, napkins etc so that was nice too. Overall, brilliant and authentic Pakistani food.

I took a singular bite into each item to perform quality assurance and was disappointed to find out the rice tasted like it hadn't been washed, the lamb smelled like it was alive, bread was cold and the chicken was average. Two options laid on the table, call it a lesson learned and eat the food and never go back or call the store and return the food. Since I hadn't had breakfast or lunch I went with option 2 and figured I'd pick some food from somewhere else. I returned to the restaurant and was pleased to find out that the owner had already processed the refund. Due to the customer service I felt like 3 stars was fair. If it was a review based on the food only it would be a 1 star again.

Mild, with a special note asking for zero spice. We also ordered the raita and naan and kulcha. This used to be one of our regular restaurants but since moving to Gainesville, we've only been occasionally. Still, as our favorite (then) restaurant, we were excited. Oh, more fools us. The naan and kulcha were wet and see through on the bottom. Not moist, not warm. But as if they'd been sitting in oil. Completely inedible. Could almost wring the oil out of it. Okay, that was a disaster, but surely the kormas would deliver. Look at my previous reviews, always had good experiences there. LOL. Oh, boy. The oil was a slick on the top of the containers, which weren't marked. Some people might not be able to eat lamb or chicken, so marking the containers somehow would have been nice, so that someone didn't eat a meat they didn't want. Which wouldn't have been good. Know what would have been worse? What we got. Which was at least a level 3 spice. Not mild. Not no spice. One bite and the Texas person who douses everything in hot sauce was complaining that it was too hot. The raita might have cooled it down to a level where someone might have been able to eat it. Alas, the raita was ordered but never sent. So to recap... Soaking wet bread. Extra spicy meals delivered when ordered mild. Oily split sauce with a slick atop it. No indication which meat was in which meal. No raita. Since none of the people in this house can eat aggressively spicy food, this was an 80.00 mistake. Don't be foolish like me... save your money and go elsewhere. Literally, anywhere else.

I'm a local customer and live just a minute away, so I've visited more than once. I came in for lunch today with my wife and our 1.5-year-old son. After placing our order and sitting down, the server loudly yelled from behind the counter for us to come get our water. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially with a young child. When I placed my order, I asked for extra white sauce, and I asked again when the food came out. Both times, the request was ignored. I also mentioned that we hadn't received our drinks, but instead of addressing it, the server again yelled for us to get the drinks ourselves from the cooler. The food itself was okay, but the bread was very poor--hard and barely edible. I even called the restaurant later in the evening to share my concerns, but was told the server was off at that time. Overall, very disappointing experience, mainly due to the customer service. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and leads to improvement.
