I rented one of the Mercedes Sprinters and it was awesome!. I will book them for next year right away! It was very plush and comfortable for me and my guest. There were several TV's and a premium sound system. The driver was very courteous and timely. I recommend them to all of my friends and family. I will be using them in a few weeks for an airport transfer for my vacation. Most of all their prices are very fair in a market with numerous limo companies. read more

We used these guys for a birthday party bus this weekend and were extremely satisfied with their service. They didn't do anything extraordinary but they did deliver everything they advertised and when dealing with party bus companies, that in and of itself is notable. Our scheduled pickup time was 9pm and our group began to get antsy around 8:45pm because the bus hadn't arrived or called yet. So, I called the office to get the drivers location and they contacted the driver to confirm his location. After I hung up with office the driver called and again confirmed he was just a few minutes away and did in fact arrive before our pick up time. We'd gotten pictures of the 24 passenger bus before we booked and the bus that arrived was the exact bus in the photos. It was clean and stocked with everything they'd said and the sound system was booming. Crystal clear! Our driver was great too. He communicated with the point person throughout the entire night. When we were calling around to get prices etc. Blue Star was a little higher than majority of the other companies. But when dealing with these types of arrangements I'd much rather pay to have peace of mind than to save a few bucks and have a poor experience. 30TH BIRTHDAY PARTY SUCCESS. Blue Star delivered BEFORE the event, DURING the event, and AFTER the event. BEFORE I solicited quotes from several party bus companies in Houston via Yelp. While many companies replied, Blue Star was 1) timely, 2) competitive in pricing, 3) happy to answer all of my questions, and 4) offered for me to come and see the buses. I am sure I could have made several more points here, but for the sake of your time, I will keep it to the most important aspects for me personally. On the day of the event, the driver (Stephan) arrived ahead of schedule and did a brief walk-through of the bus. We exchanged phone numbers so that we could communicate throughout the evening. DURING Stephan was very professional and accommodating. There really was not a request that was out of the question. You name it, Stephan was happy to do it. To be sure that there was always someone with whom he should officially communicate, Stephan got the name of one alternate person--again, so professional. AFTER Immediately after the ride (at 3AM), Stephan answered my phone call to ask him to return to our location to return an iPhone charger that was left behind. I used Blue Star Limousine for my wedding on 10/25/15 in downtown Houston. I rented both a shuttle and a limo (shuttle for guests, limo for bridal party, and then husband and wife after the wedding) The limo was where it needed to be and followed the contract we had in place - the shuttle on the other hand was terrible. The shuttle didn't follow the schedule/route we discussed beforehand causing our wedding to start 15 minutes late waiting for the rest of the guests to arrive - then was late picking guests up from the ceremony to bring them to the reception (by 30 minutes). This both delayed the reception as well, they were supposed to make 3 trips to get everyone over and the drive told one of my guests on his 2nd trip that 6pm (our cut-off time) was approaching and when that hit, he was done and not making any more trips (despite them being 30 minutes late to get people from the ceremony). I had to call Blue Star on the day of my wedding to try and sort of this out - and then when I got back from my Honeymoon and brought this up to them, they denied it and have done absolutely nothing about. When your driver cant see because wind shield wipers did not work!! I rented a party bus from this company and the night started off badly. We kept falling in the bus and no one could enjoy themselves. When we went to ask the driver what was going on he said the windshield wipers were not working. You can see by the pictures I posted. He could not see!! When I reached out to supposedly the manager Sid he said he would credit me 70.00. Which is a slap in the face for the price I paid to rent the bus. I still have not received my refund and it has been almost a month now!! Rocky start. We hired Blue Star Limousine for our wedding in October 2015 and were thrilled to see this shiny, bright white limo pull up at the start of our special day. Unfortunately, that's where the fun ended. We were shocked to discover that the limo hadn't been cleaned after its last event, so there were balled-up napkins on the floor and half-drunken lip-stick stained champagne glasses in the cupholders. To make matters worse, the music system was offline and our A/C broke halfway through the day. My husband and I didn't allow this to ruin our wedding day, but we felt terrible for our bridal party - who were all sweating in their suits and dresses, feeling lightheaded from the heat, and deprived of any music to take the edge off. At one point, while stopping to take pictures near our reception venue, the groomsmen refused to get back in the limo and decided to just walk back. Despite this, our limo driver tried to be as accommodating as he could: he was on time, willing to follow our photographer around the Sugar Land area for pictures, and he even requested to get HQ to send another limo (which was denied apparently). The day after our wedding, we contacted Blue Star to raise hell about the situation. Jackie was extremely apologetic and did everything in her power to make amends: she gave us a full refund for the limo service and even offered complimentary limo service to and from the airport for our honeymoon. It was a gracious gesture, so we took it. When it was time to depart for our honeymoon two months later, our limo SUV arrived on time. We definitely didn't like our driver: he didn't make conversation, offer to turn on the radio, or anything, so we drove to the airport in awkward silence. Upon arriving back in the States two weeks later, however, our experience was much better. Again, the limo was punctual, and our driver this time around was very pleasant. We FINALLY got to make use of the music system on one of these limos!! Third time's a charm, right? Overall, Blue Star Limo definitely gets full points for punctuality. Looking at all the reviews, it seems like we caught Blue Star on an off-day during our first meeting, which -very unfortunately- just HAD to be on the most important day of our lives, but I'm appreciative of how the company tried to fix the situation. This limo service did an amazing job for my best friend's wedding!! The driver arrived on time and the bus was spectacularly clean.Rain filled our afternoon but driver made sure he escorted the wedding party one by one;in and out under the umbrella. He made sure that our bride and groom were well covered under two umbrellas. He kept up with time effeciently not to rush us but to help us keep up with our itinerary.He drove us safely throu the rain. I have to say our driver went above and beyond!! He even helped our photographer held her umbrella while she stood in the rain while taking our pics, and pointed out things that would make our pictures better!Such a gentleman! The limo was clean. We asked for 7:45 arrival so we could depart by 8. Driver got there early which was fine except he was yelling at us from inside the limo that we needed to get in at 7:45 while we were posing for ONE photo in front of the limo. The air was not on in the back on a very hot day so we had to figure it out on our own. There were room temperature bottles of water, nothing chilled. When we got to our destination the driver did not get out and open our doors or address us in any way. Clearly tipping ahead of time was a mistake. read more

I had such a great experience from beginning to end. The staff was very helpful when my fiancé (now husband) showed up to Blue Star to check out what options we had to choose from. All of their vehicles were nice, clean and well equipped. As soon as we choose the rental the booking process went smoothly. The day of our driver arrived 15mins early which was great. He invited us onto the bus to have us check everything out to make sure it was to our liking. As soon as we were all ready to go he position the bus as close as possible so we wouldn't catch too much of the rain. When we arrived to our destination he was such a gentleman and escorted each person in my bridal party with his umbrella. He even apologized to me for all the rain. So sweet! I requested a party bus for my birthday/graduation. The driver was on time but I did not receive the bus I initially requested. The aux cord was terrible I had to hold it just to make it work. The bus was not a 2017 model as I was told. I spoke with the company a few days after my reservation and they told me a manger would call me back and they did not. All in all I had a great time because of the people around me, but it would of been nice to enjoy dancing around the bus instead of holding an aux cord. Especially for the price. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This review is a very delayed, but better late than never. I rented the Chrysler 300 limo for my prom in May of 2014 from Blue Star. The price was reasonable and the service was great. Up Until the day of prom, everything changed. The limo was supposed to pick us up from a certain destination, they showed up 45 minutes late with the WRONG limo. I expected a white Chrysler 300 limousine, but instead a pink and floral airbrushed limo showed up. Obviously this was the wrong limo. I called the limo service and demanded a refund because the limo was hideous and this was not what I paid for. They said the Chrysler 300 was not available anymore because they gave it to another party even after I booked it and had all the confirmation emails. They said if we let the driver go, we would get a full refund. We drove our own cars to dinner and to the hotel. I'm calling customer service a few days later wanting to know why the money hadn't been refunded back to my card, but they changed their mind and said that they weren't giving me my money back anymore even after they said they would. One man said he had to ask his manager if doing a refund was even possible and would call me back. Waited two days, still no call back. Called them back, they still hadn't figured out how to give me my money back And were very hesitant to do so. I have no clue why they would tell me they would give me a full refund and not follow through with it, no questions asked. I was starting to think that I wasn't getting my money back after all. After going back and fork with them, I finally received the full refund after 3 weeks since the incident. It was absolutely awful and ruined my prom group's evening due to all the confusion and frustration. It seems people are having good experiences with this company from the reviews and Facebook photos, but I certainly did not. I would not risk this happening to anyone. So please, do yourself a favor and rent from a different company. read more
