It was a big job that took a crew of three amazing guys almost three weeks to complete. Their attention to detail was extraordinary. I felt as though they cared more about the job than I did. Jason, Bujar, and Soku were an extremely professional crew that over delivered on every aspect of the job. They greeted us every morning with a genuine good morning, they respected our privacy and they left each day with all their equipment cleaned up and tucked into our backyard. The preparation work that they did was amazing. Our house is 14 years old and had never been painted since the original builder's paint job. The Prorise guys repaired every little crack and sealed every window in a manner that made the house better than when it was brand new. Now that I have seen what a good paint job looks like, I will never accept the crappy job that the original builder provided again! I can both see and feel the difference in the quality of the paint. I have looked at the work in all different lighting throughout the days since the job was completed and I see not a single brush stroke. All I see is perfection.

I was moving from the North Shore and before doing so, I contacted a bunch of movers. I didn't have…read morethe standard 2 bd or 3rd, my sister and I lived together and each brought or belongings and furniture plus some things of our parents. Almost all the movers quoted me a price without even coming to see what we had to move. I had read reviews on Reddit and one mover was highly recommended so I called him, he came over and quoted me a ridiculous price, 5 times what I ended up paying. Perhaps it was because it was Easter weekend or because we had a lot of stuff to move, not sure. I then contacted a bunch of movers by email and got very quick responses by many but Super Dee stood out to me because they wanted to see what we had before quoting a price. Others said they would send me a 4 ton truck but when Don came from Super Dee, he looked at everything and surmised we would need a 5 ton truck. I thought Oh no, what is this going to cost me but it turned out to be a very good price, and he was right, that truck was packed! Yes I got lower quotes but there was no way anyone could do the amount of work Don and his team did plus pay for gas and the ferry for anything less...more on that later. We had lived in this particular house for 20 years and had accumulated a lot of junk and things we didn't want to take. Turned out they do junk removal as well; it was perfect! Super Dee is definitely a Mom n Pop operation, Don's wife Jeanette runs the office and Don handles the move with his crew...all nice guys and very helpful. If you are looking for a service where everyone wears matching uniforms, shoes polished, hair styled etc, they dont fit the bill but i can attest to the fact that everyone worked really hard, hour after hour, always smiling and polite and 100% honest. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and use them again. I preferred having a crew that was flexible, not standing there with a clipboard adding another 15 mins to my bill. They agreed to a price and they worked damn hard to get it all done no matter how long it took. I also wanted to add that when it became obvious that i wasn't going to get everything done ( finishing packing the little stuff left and clean a 4 bd home for the walk through with the owners in 3 days) i asked Don if he had any helpers he could get and he arranged for a couple of extremely hard women to come and finish packing and cleaning. They were absolutely fantastic, if you have a big move, I 100% recommend you ask Don to set you up with them. The first day they focused on the packing, the second day they asked me what I wanted cleaned, fridge, windows etc? I said This is not going to be that sort of clean up, I need you to do whatever each room needs done whether it be cleaning the radiator or the blinds, anywhere you see dust and dirt it has to be cleaned. And they did. They were like two little tornadoes going through the house. They organized keep, trash, donate piles, they even helped me load up my own car. There was literally nothing they wouldn't or didnt do. Do yourself a favor and hire them if you can afford the extra expense because they are really worth it. Don and his team worked really, really hard for us. They spent hours on removing junk from a house that had been lived in by us for 19 years; there was a LOT of junk. Next day, back with the same amount of energy to load the truck and the following day to deliver it to where we were moving to. I dont know how they were able to do that much work 3 days in a row; I would have been in bed for a week after Day 2. I was so pleased with the service that I did something I have never done before and that was to pay them more than they asked. Of course I tipped each of the movers but my sister and I spoke about it and we thought they had done an extraordinary amount of work for the price we had been quoted especially when they had gas and ferry costs. We felt they had quoted us a price that was too low considering all the work they had done so we added an extra bonus amount to the bill. When I talked with Jeanette, one of the owners, she seemed very helpful, friendly and professional. When I told her about the size of our house and how much furniture we had, she sent us a quote based on two trucks which after some discussion it seemed like it changed to one truck on their end. They said that one truck should be enough. After selling our house, we contacted Jeanette again and told her we would like to use her company. One week before our move, we called again and asked to have someone from the company to come by and assess our needs. One of the owners, Don, came by and told us what we needed to do to prepare for the move. He also said that 2 trucks would definitely be needed and we would have to pay an additional charge for the second truck and an additional helper. We told him that we were told that we were quoted for 2 trucks initially and the further charge was a surprise. After some discussion with Jeanette again, the extra charge was reduced a bit from $1500 to $1000. On moving day which turned out to be the hottest day on record (June 28th), the movers showed up almost 2 hours late and seemed ill prepared for the move. In fact when they wanted to break for lunch, they had no food or drink so we made them lunch and provided lots of bottled cold water for them as well as an air conditioned space for them to relax for their break. They were not organized and one of the workers seemed lost and spent a lot of time either on his phone or standing around. We told the person in charge (Brandi) about this and nothing changed. Later I called Don to inform him of what was happening and he was very defensive with me and said that we should feel lucky that they didn't cancel our move due to the heat. Later on I received a call from Jeanette the owner that it appeared that we were abusive toward the worker and and were pushing to have the workers hurry up which was never said. When we told Brandi that we were told this by Jeanette, she said that that was never mentioned and they must have misunderstood what we said. After seeing that they needed help, I realized that I too needed to assist in helping load the trucks and moved plenty of the boxes and pieces myself. A couple hours later, we noticed 2 of the movers had disappeared with one of the trucks without even notifying us. In the mean time, all our boxes and possessions were out in the street and unattended. Several hours later it was obvious that the trucks wouldn't be fully loaded due to all the problems the movers had encountered. They decided to leave at 7pm and promised to return the following day. The next morning, a better crew showed up and was much more organized and managed to conclude the loading in a few hours with our help. The next day at our new house, once again the movers showed up at least 3 hours later than we were told by the owner due to some other issues that we had not been informed about until I had called to see where they were. They finally showed up at 2 pm and commenced unloading and both my wife and I assisted in helping them. As we unloaded a few pieces of furniture, we saw that they had some damage from the truck. We mentioned this to Brandi when the unloading was finished and she wanted to conclude the move in a hurry to catch a ferry back to the lower mainland. She wanted payment right away and hastily took pictures of some of the damage and said they would contact us about dealing with it, but nothing was ever done. We also noticed that both our bed's mattresses were not wrapped and had some dirt on them. Much of the furniture we later discovered was also scratched and even a box of china had been dropped and all the pieces were ruined. We also noticed after the trucks left our brand new driveway that they had both left large spots of oil all around it. I informed Don about this and he told me how I could remove the stains. He offered to send someone to clean them if I had no luck but never answered me back when I had called and texted him to deal with our problems. Since the move, I had tried to contact Don a few times without him, Jeanette or Brandi ever responding back to try to make things right. It is too bad that this company wasn't as good as we first thought. In fact, they did a poor job and weren't worth the money we were charged. Don't expect them to deal with any problems properly. We will never use this company again and hope others will learn from our experience.

I was hopeful, more than confident that they would be able to do it but they managed to pull it off. The very uneven slabs on the driveway and around the house were all levelled perfectly. The cracks were repaired such that they are. now almost imperceptible. Unlike a competitor we considered, Impact coloured the crack fillers to match the driveway.
