Dr. Jim and Dr. Pam are married pediatricians and really just fantastic doctors. We see both doctors and appreciate the flexibility that this setup provides. I have never had a problem scheduling an appointment or getting in the same day with a sick child. I appreciate how thorough they are--our well child checkups are always at least 20 minutes. This is definitely not the type of doctor that is in and out in 5 minutes before you can say a word. They have thoughtful and non-intrusive suggestions to problems you bring up and are very proactive with any issues or concerns you bring to their attention. It is very apparent that they are practicing from an evidence-based approach and keeping on top of new research. As the wife of a doctor in training, I also appreciate that they take the time out of their busy day to allow med students from UTSW to rotate through their office. They always ask permission from the parents before letting the student do a preliminary exam (they come back and do the full exam later), but it is wonderful that aspiring doctors are getting to see how a well-run and caring office can function. The staff is lovely and always friendly. This has not been the case at other doctors offices I have visited, and while it isn't a deal breaker, it is appreciated.

There was no problem with my weight, just her projecting her feelings and her assumptions. Things like that really have an effect on young girls.

Had never experienced that before. There is no communication between front and the doctor or anyone in the office. At one point I asked the front a question and she told me to go find the nurse assistant (think that was her title?)...I was like, Ma'am! I don't work here and do not know who that is or where her office is. Can you not do that? It was ridiculous! When I finally was over the lack of professionalism and communication I told the lady at the front "I'm leaving, this is obviously not a good fit, I'll need a refund issued." I recieved a call from her 15min later asking where I went because the doctor went in my room and I wasn't there. I asked her if she was OK because I just had a conversation with her before I left. She said Doctor Tammi wanted to know...again that's not my job...she works there and should have commented my less than desirable thoughts about her practice.

Dr. Ogden is a dream and is truly a person I trust with the lives and future of my children. He is the most knowledgeable, patient, pediatrician! I also have to take a moment and recognize someone who I believe is quite possibly the kindest person I've ever known. Her name is Esteliz Gillett and she is Dr. Ogden's PA. She is a remarkable human being. My daughter was beginning to have body image issues and was self conscious about her weight. I'm so thankful the staff at the office recommend we have a visit with PA, Ms. Gillett. She is a health and nutrition wizard!! This woman spent an hour with my daughter, building her up, giving tips and advice on healthy choices, and when we left, my daughter was feeling like she was on top of the world and could conquer ANYTHING. I literally bawled my eyes out at I listened to the loving words she was speaking into my girl. I swear, you'll MEVER meet anyone like her. Meet her. I can promise, your entire family will be completely in love with her! I know mine is! If you're looking for a pediatrician for your sweet kiddos, you can't stop looking. This place is simply the BEST!!!!

I heeded their advice and we've been coming here ever since. That was so long ago that not only did they have but a single location, I'm quite certain that some of their current employees were just little babies themselves! Normally I'm not the biggest fan of large practices with many different providers, but this place is different. Each and every one we have interacted with has proven themselves to be trustworthy, competent and caring. so I actually have no qualms about seeing whomever is available the soonest. You still have the option to request someone in particular though, if you have a preference. It just might take a little longer to get an appointment. Either way, appointments always seem to be plentiful since they are open 6 days a week at both the Coppell and Flower Mound offices. For the most part, I've been satisfied with them over the years. There have only been a few occasions where I left feeling unsettled and guilt-ridden over things like, not bringing my child in sooner or not being strict enough with rules or diets. I don't know whether I was fairly or unfairly judged in those situations. I'm sure there's always room for improvement on both sides. But, as they say "pobody's nerfect"!

My primary care doctor has been Dr. Bryan Wasson, DO for nearly five years now…read more When I first found Dr. Wasson, I was working in a miserable working environment that was not only miserable because of the hostility of the workers but the unreasonable use of the Air Conditioning at 62 degrees year round. I ended up with bronchitis and walking pneumonia three times in six months. Here is why I give Dr. Wasson 5 stars. He is one of the few doctors I have ever consulted with who actually realizes we might know a tad about our own bodies. What a concept? Right! Here is where we found this realization. I have been susceptible to chronic bronchitis for most of my life, an affliction I share with my mother. And both of us, over the years have figured out that there is a tell-tale sign of impending doom... a metallic taste in our mouth that won't go away. The first time I went to see Dr. Wasson, I complained about a metallic taste in my mouth. He gave me an antibiotic, a weak one and sent me on my way. Two weeks later I had full blown bronchitis that was borderline walking pneumonia. This time he gave me a couple of shots and some medicines to get me well. He wrote this metallic taste phenomenon in my chart. Every time since then, I just call and say I'm tasting metal and he gives me the full treatment before I have a chance to get really sick. Only once have I been given a prescription from Dr. Wasson where he didn't give me a sample or a coupon. And that one time was one of those days I was thoroughly glad to have such a great doctor! I had full-blown food poisoning. I had been attempting to take phenergan for a couple of days to no avail. I had both suppositories and pills. So this day Dr. Wasson gave me a prescription and sent me over to Las Colinas Pharmacy where they created a phenergan cream that I could rub on my arms. Because if you have been getting sick for 3-4 days you have to be able to get the medicine in you where it will stay, if you catch my drift. Dr. Wasson's office has always been able to work me in anytime I was sick...and they were very quick and thorough when I needed to have my pre-op screening to make sure my heart, my lungs and everything else was healthy enough for brain surgery. I thoroughly recommend Dr. Wasson if you are looking for an internal medicine doctor.

Up until this point, I haven't had any issues with the doctor specifically but I really do not like how I was handled and then lied on by the grown women who work in the front office. When a child is sick, it can be very stressful and the last thing a parent needs is someone (who should be professional at all times) beating them upset/mad and then later lying about the communication had to the doctor, only for the doctor to come into a sick visit with a one-sided opinion about a situation that was relayed to her incorrectly in the first place. Unacceptable! My number one concern is my children and their health. Not only am I upset but I am so, very disappointed in how Dr. Moemeka treated me in regards to my daughter who is sick with Covid right now. She actually tried to tell me that "my intentions for coming to her office weren't in the right place." (Its not about re-taking a Covid test). Like, seriously?! How dare you! I may have wanted a clear understanding on why the office doesn't do retests but I mainly wanted to know what's going on with my child. My only concern is my child and her health, always! I don't know how this Covid stuff works and its scary when you've heard that people have died from it. This is not the way you conduct business and if I was a doctor or part of a doctor's staff, I would never treat a parent/patient this way. We, as parents are already dealing with enough, the last thing we need is to come into contact with people at a doctor's office who can't even handle a parent that's worried about her sick child!
