I sensed that the owner seemed bothered by my request to have yet another one made. The next one came out and was very dry, the croissant seemed stale and it seems that they kept using the same meat and egg. I should have just asked for my money back Honestly a juice and the sandwich was $21 and for what I received, McDonalds would have been a better option. With pricing as high as it is, the service and quality needs to match what is being charged. I don't mind paying higher prices but you must deliver the goods to reflect those prices.

I remarked upon walking in that someone seemed to have gone hog wild with the pine-sol - the smell hit me like a wall! I ordered an iced coffee . I took a sip in the store , while I was still permeated with pine-sol , and it seemed fine. As soon as I left the store and was walking for a bit and then took another sip, I realized it too had been permeated . I don't know if it was the ice , the cup, or the coffee. Pine-sol original is one of those sickeningly pungent scents that gets stuck in your mouth just from breathing it in. I dumped it down the sink , it was not drinkable. ‍ My advice: Get a different floor cleaner and measure it like a miser.

By late morning there won't be much left. By late morning, there were only a few donuts on display. There isn't much room for seating here, so to take advantage of one of these treats, expect to wait or just take it to go. Parr Creek has a small breakfast menu, of the type of things you'd expect from a place like this. No full course meals here, just a wrap, pancakes, muffins, scones and cinnamon or caramel rolls. At least that's what was available on the day I was there. There may be other options during the week. The menu is on a whiteboard and it seems the locals don't need to look at the board at all, they just know what to get. On the other hand, there's a small lunch menu with enough selections to make you feel less guilty about indulging a sweet tooth. Next visit, I might try one of them. The sourdough pancakes were served with a rhubarb/strawberry compote that nicely balanced the pancake and I liked that it didn't have the same high level of sweetness as a syrup -- which is also available if that's your preference. Now, the cinnamon roll was gigantic. It was also very good. The frosting was a buttercream, like you get on a cake, and that gave it a completely different flavor than the usual melted sugar. A little of it goes a long way and I preferred to eat around the sweet and just enjoy the subtle cinnamon taste. If you're exploring the area, then make a point to visit Parr Creek.

Just outstanding quality. Hand cut thick fries were also solid. It is neat to see the locals stop by--clearly everyone appreciates the place. They bake their own desserts too. Attentive, efficient staff. No one is loafing. Just us visitors! Well worth the drive into the middle of nowhere. Can't wait to drop in for breakfast.
