It was so easy to work with the staff at Victorian Corner's over the phone to come up with arrangements that fit my fussy needs and every changing requirements. They delivered the arrangements directly to the restaurant for me the morning of the party. They were so beautiful and fresh I was very surprised and happy. We actually had games for our guests and offered these arrangements as door prizes! There was so much competition fo these lovely arrangements between the elderly friends of my mother that it was a testimonial of the general opinion how beautiful they were and how much everyone desired to have one to take home. I definitely would recommend and use them again.

Ordered $60 worth of flowers the night before a birthday that were suppose to be delivered at noon…read morethe following day. I got a voicemail the next morning saying that they did not have those flowers and that they would substitute the flowers. I called in and asked if they would still be delivered at noon and they lady said no it would be around 3pm because that is what I requested. I told her that was not what was requested and she insisted that I did. I also asked her if the price for the flowers that I didn't order was going to be the same price as the flowers that I ordered. She said, "yes" and again got snippy. I asked her why they would have flowers on their website that they do not have any stock of. She said, "I am just going to cancel your order." The only reason I give four stars and not 5 the workers when we walked in were just sitting talking didn't really engage with us or show us around ask if it was our 1st time I had to tell them. Also, when painting, I thought they would come around to see if we needed anything or look at our work and tell us we need more layers I had to ask. My wife and I were excited to end our first ever trip to Ice Fest by making a pottery souvenir. We…read morehad seen the Facebook advertisement to make a coffee mug with Carlisle Ice Fest stencils. However, our experience painting pottery left us very frustrated and determined never to return to this business when we're next in town. We've painted pottery in numerous studios in Maryland and New Hampshire, so we understand the basics of the process. When we entered the studio, no one greeted us or was seemingly working there to answer our questions. We wanted to know if there was a studio fee or if that was included in the pottery prices. Despite advertising the mugs, they were not easily identified as being the special. The staff, and I'm reluctant to actually call them employees, we're giggly teenagers who were more interested in chatting then helping customers. We had to stand in the check out line to get basic questions answered and ended up waiting for the owner to come over to have the stencil process explained. In addition to the lack of support from the staff, the owner/manager was busy running an adjacent store selling teas and other goods. As a result, it appeared no one was actually managing the pottery studio. Focusing on either the pottery studio or the other store instead of poorly running both would have improved everyone's experiences. The owner was gracious enough to ship our mugs to our home in Maryland. However, the packaging was poor and resulted in chipping one mug and completely cracking the other. Luckily, we can use the Japanese kintsugi technique to salvage our mugs as candle holders instead of their intended purpose.

We were greeted with a smile and Donna (owner) gave an overview of the nursery. I was amazed by the abundance of different variety Hosta's that were available from miniatures to large. There were so many varieties it was hard to choose what we wanted. All the colors, textures were amazing. The plants were healthy and hardy and organized as I strolled throughout all the paths looking for the perfect specimens. I was really memorized by the blue green leafed Hosta's. Since everything was damp from the recent rain, they had a pearl essence hue. What an amazing nursery and customer service. While I was picking out my finds Charles (CEO) was loading them on the golf cart to bring to the front for purchase. My partner and I chose 8 plants and we also ended up purchasing a statuary as well. After our purchase, Chuck (GM) took our items to the car and loaded them up using cardboard and burlap to protect the seats and carpet. I offered him a gratuity, but he refused and said "that is part of our service" Thank you, for coming. The prices were reasonable compared to local nurseries in our area. Aldo G. and Gary M.
