My husband's mother had surgery and we wanted to get her a nice bouquet from a local florist so…read moreafter reading reviews from several places on different platforms I chose Lincolnway. I noticed in general some complaints people had when purchasing bouquets - in general, not from this store specifically- is that the final product will exceed what they wanted to pay - so instead of 100, I said 80 was how much I wanted to spend on it - this is my recommendation for others, give a little lower number than you want to spend so if you end up adding things - bow, card etc, you don't go over your budget or if there is a delivery fee. I also came the day before we needed the flowers in case they were busy, etc. Also, if you are ordering flowers without going into a shop and you are a more picky or particular person you should GO IN AND PICK THEM OUT IF POSSIBLE or probably request pictures for approval if it is that important/ an important event etc. This was my first time ordering a custom bouquet. After I arrived at Lincolnway, someone was available to help me within a few minutes. She asked how much I wanted to spend and I said $80 and I picked out a couple flowers I liked in the front cooler and then she got some additional flowers out of the back according to the colors I said I wanted and she spent some time putting them together in a vase arranging them and it looked really great! I was very pleased for the $$ spent. Total came to $93 including the vase, bow, card, etc. it was very tall and full and she offered for the store to keep it in their cooler until my husband was traveling to see his mother the next day which was great and very much appreciated. Based on my experience, I would recommend them. The picture doesn't do it justice - I should have taken one but we got this picture from my husband's mother.

As a houseplant enthusiast, I asked the owner some burning questions while she explained the plant I chose to take home. My question: When you see yellowing leaves on houseplants, it's typically due to overwatering. I use a moisture meter to help me gauge whether my plants need watering. She suggested putting the meter to the very bottom of the pot for accuracy. As a plant enthusiast, I found it hard to walk out of the House of Flowers without making a purchase. The shop offered a very large selection of houseplants, I did purchase a Ficus Audrey in the fig tree family, I already own a ficus fiddle leaf and Ficus Burgundy (rubber plant. I found Victorian Corner thru some friends' suggestion and called them hoping they could help with flower arrangements for this party. I needed 16 of them for the tables. It was so easy to work with the staff at Victorian Corner's over the phone to come up with arrangements that fit my fussy needs and every changing requirements. They delivered the arrangements directly to the restaurant for me the morning of the party. They were so beautiful and fresh I was very surprised and happy. We actually had games for our guests and offered these arrangements as door prizes! There was so much competition fo these lovely arrangements between the elderly friends of my mother that it was a testimonial of the general opinion how beautiful they were and how much everyone desired to have one to take home. I definitely would recommend and use them again.

I got a voicemail the next morning saying that they did not have those flowers and that they would substitute the flowers. I called in and asked if they would still be delivered at noon and they lady said no it would be around 3pm because that is what I requested. I told her that was not what was requested and she insisted that I did. I also asked her if the price for the flowers that I didn't order was going to be the same price as the flowers that I ordered. She said, "yes" and again got snippy. I asked her why they would have flowers on their website that they do not have any stock of. She said, "I am just going to cancel your order." I told her I would be sure to write a great review and she then hung up. So... here is your review :D
