I came in for Botox and fillers and later returned for a follow-up appointment. Beth discussed what…read moreshe planned to do at the follow-up, but never discussed any associated costs beforehand. When I checked out, the receptionist specifically told me there was no charge. I've had follow-up appointments with other doctors over the years where there was no additional charge, so I had no reason to think otherwise. Later, her office contacted me saying they had forgotten to charge me. I asked what the amount was, but my card was charged before I was even told the amount. Only afterward did they text me that it was $750. That amount had never been disclosed to me or approved by me beforehand. I asked them to refund the charge until I could speak with Beth and understand what had happened. When Beth called, rather than acknowledging the obvious miscommunication, she told me it was my responsibility to ask what the treatment would cost. She also said that because we had been having a personal conversation during the appointment, she hadn't gone over the pricing. I disagree. A patient shouldn't be expected to know what a medical provider is going to charge. Pricing should be disclosed before treatment so the patient can make an informed decision. There was another issue with the treatment itself. I had specifically raised my under-eye area by text and again during the follow-up, and it was part of what we discussed addressing. Beth ultimately did not treat that area. When I raised it afterward, she said it would have required a different type of injection. That was never explained to me during the appointment. If the treatment plan had changed, I should have been told why and given the opportunity to decide how I wanted to proceed. What was most disappointing was how my attempt to resolve this was handled. Rather than trying to work through the miscommunication, Beth repeatedly characterized me as "argumentative" and ultimately told me, "I am discharging you as a patient because you are being so argumentative." I was asking for an explanation and a fair resolution regarding a $760 charge that had never been disclosed to me beforehand, as well as an explanation for why part of the treatment we had discussed wasn't performed. I cannot recommend this practice.

I wish I had never gone. After previously using Obagi products, I requested a consultation to…read morepurchase what I needed for my skin. I drove an hour to their location to meet with an esthetician. I bought 5 products for $560.00. They did not consider the needs of my aging skin (age 76) and prescribed an aggressive hyperpigmentation treatment (I had used this prior to laser surgery 6 years ago). It did not address extreme dryness and made my skin worse. Stiff and peeling face was not what I was looking for at this time. Worse was that they upcharged all the products because I had not booked at least three treatments at their facility. If I had purchased the same products directly from Obagi, I would have paid $468, almost $100 less. I used Obagi online to purchase moisturing prooducts and found 5 appropriate products for only $149. I totally feel ripped off, Beware of their advice.

Carolina Chiropractic Plus (CCP) Columbus, NC…read more Life changing! It has been one month since my last visit and I can now post a review that extends beyond my 12-week therapy. Aside from the amazing care and friendliness of everyone who works at CCP, I am delighted with the outcome. As a 70-yr I have experienced many health issues, beginning with infancy. I have had too many traditional doctors visits, hospital stays, surgeries along with unfriendly changes from aging. Most of my life I was advised that chiropractic therapy wasn't considered "real" medical treatment. However, after years of personal experience, some research and recent revelations about the dark side of "traditional" medicine, I felt like it was time to try something more natural: stretching, realigning, decompression, and most amazing of all, shockwave treatments. I am forever grateful that I followed my instincts and the results are nothing less than amazing! I truly believe that if I had begun chiropractic therapy years ago, my life would have been healthier and happier. I wish with all my heart that I had tried it years ago instead of listening to the advice of others. The overall results are that I have less 'heaviness' to carry around every day... my body doesn't ache as much, I feel lighter in a way that I can't fully express. And the shockwave therapy has changed my life! I can wholeheartedly testify that after dealing with wonky knees for 35-years, and recent shoulder pain that was unyielding, I no longer fear having surgery anytime soon, (hopefully never), which is what my orthopedic surgeon has been predicting could happen. Instead, I had five treatments on my shoulder, four on my right knee and three on my left knee. With each successive treatment per area the excruciating, unending pain became less and less. Now, one month after treatments ended, thank the Lord, I am free from the aches and pains that I've carried for half of my life. Shockwave therapy, which is relatively new, is a game changer! Whatever your age, if you have aches and pains in your joints, please do yourself a favor and give it a try before undergoing surgery. I am forever grateful that I did and if the time ever comes where surgery is given as an option, I will try shockwave therapy again before signing up for it. To Dr. Kevin, Adrienne, Jessica and Eliza, I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the excellent care and attentiveness each of you extended to me. May God bless each of you and the patients you so lovingly treat every day.

This spa not only exceeded expectations, it even surpassed our regular Chicago Spa. I was lucky to get Evangeline as my facialist. Not to mention the fact that my skin looked fantastic! Evangeline didn't do a hard sell of products, which was greatly appreciated. Not that that stopped me from splurging on a few! I highly recommend Fountain of Youth, and try to get Evangeline, if possible.
