Roxy store.

This place it the most unprofessional business I have encountered, Roxy is the most rude ,shady person I have ever seen everything started two months ago when my sister came to California to visit and she wants to go to Malibu, she saw this place after we ate in a great Restaurant across the street ,my sister liked many dresses but they were too small, after a while She found a dress she choose to buy and Roxy assured her that the dress was her size , after she paid for it and she decided to check the dress in the car , she found out it was the wrong size , so my sister went to return the dress and Roxy told her she could do a refund but instead she will mail the right size when she have it on stock, this incident happens two months ago and she never give the refund or mail the dress as she said she will , so my daughter decided to go to see why she could not do the refund, as soon as my daughter introduced her self and asked for the refund she started to insult my sister and my daughter,, calling them ugly and fat , telling her I will call the police ( I was waiting to see the police), and to leave her store, horrible customer service , as a customer we have rights , I guess she never tough she had to refund $50 ., she had two months lying to my sister, I will send this complaint business bureau. It was my first time there and my last one , the clothes are over priced, everything comes from Mexico so it's easier to go for vacation to Mexico and deal with the people that actually manufactured this garments .

I've been wearing this brand for about three months now. I originally started because one of my…read moreclients loves it and recommended it to me. I decided to visit the store instead of ordering online because I wanted to make sure I got the correct size. The first time I visited this location, an employee named Hannah (I believe that was her name) helped me. She's short with jet black hair. Unfortunately, she was extremely rude. While I was asking questions about sizing, she seemed annoyed and gave off the impression that she didn't want to help. The second time I visited the store was today, on my birthday. I wanted to buy something as a gift to myself. She happened to be there again, and when I asked about an item on the silver rack she was once again very rude and dismissive. She looked like she either hates her job or just didn't want to deal with me. Another employee ended up helping my friend and me. She had an accent (I didn't catch her name), but she was much kinder and actually helpful, so I appreciated that. The store itself is really cute. The design feels very 70s-inspired and they even have a lounge-style seating area that feels like a waiting room. They also regularly have items on outside sale racks--things like bathing suits, hats, shirts, leggings, and sweatpants. Parking is not great. You may have to park across the road for free parking or drive further down to find a spot. Also, because the store is in Malibu, expect heavy traffic. Overall, I probably won't be returning to this location. Now that I know my size and have a few pieces from the brand, I'll likely just order online. It's nice to go into a store the first time to feel the fabric and see how things fit, but the customer service here made the experience disappointing.

Cute but expensive clothing. Great vibes and good location near the pier. Good for a Malibu…read moresweatshirt as a souvenir.

One of the best boutiques ever. There are locations in Calabasas, Studio City, Del Rey, Westlake,…read moreVentura, and Agoura Hills. The stores are limited to Southern California; so, when I first moved to Los Angeles and began to explore (shopping is an activity that I just can't help but do everyday, whether I had it in mind to do or I had a full day in my "planner" ...actually, back in 2007, I did have a big "At-a-Glance" planner with an entire page per day... Anyway, I stumbled upon the Calabasas Commons because I had looked up in that app, "Around Me" and found that close to one of my three jobs I worked while going to School for my Doctorate, the Calabasas Commons was on my way home from work to where I lived in West Hollywood. I stopped by right away because it mentioned a Barnes & Noble being one of the stores there. First, I spotted M. Fredrick. I saw those gorgeous, hand-picked by their buyer. I didn't realize quite how much less expensive ever was in LA compared to San Francisco. Now, this many years later, it's no longer a thought nor a thing because I've lived here so long, but it was astonishing to me back when I was freshly 22. I picked out about 20-25 pieces of the most beautiful jeans, sweaters, shirts, shoes, tank tops and dresses. I also bought a pair of sweatpants that felt like thick silk, but mostly, like a white tiger- they were the first thing I bought the next morning on my break from work; so, I vividly remember that they were $600 before tax, which, to be honest, I did think they were on the pricey side, but I didn't think of it again. The many items I had purchased the afternoon prior came to almost $23,000, but I never ever in my life looked at prices of anything, so, it was no thing and to this day, I remember probably 7/8ths of what I bought. The clothes were definitely worth it and I would do it again, even now. The only problem is that they don't make clothes how they used to. We don't have the materials or aren't willing to use them on designer boutique clothing. Every chance I could, I went to an M. Fredric store for the next 10 years.

M. Fredric is great! I've shopped there for decades. Reasonably priced, store is well laid out,…read moregreat selection. The very best part: employees are always nice, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. If they don't have your size or color, they'll find out if another location has it and have it sent.
