Had them draw up designs for a 1,200 square foot outdoor building. Paid same price as we would for a home draft. During construction the framers stopped and callled our GC. Apparently, Matt didn't provide any structural support and if we had moved forward the roof would have sagged and eventually the building would have caved in on itself. My husband called Matt to see what he envisioned for support and his response," I really didn't have anything in mind." We asked him to contact framers for suggestions and now he is ghosting us. Move on to electrical. We noticed the outlets in the wrong spots. Again, good ole Matt used the word "ceiling" in the description so our outlet are in the actual ceiling!!!!!! I would not use this company for no reason again We had our plan drawn by Chris and Cody and are requesting reimbursement for two items they missed on the elec. plan .. they put coach lights on the elevation and on the floor plan they Wrote in a Jetted tub which requires electric, however when "They" did the electrical plan "They" did not add either, which in turn caused us as Their customer to pay 375.00 to the Electrician, I emailed Chris ( which I think is the owner) and this is the response I got. My email to Chris: Good Morning Chris, We have not heard back from you regarding this issue. If it was on the plan as requested by us prior to us leaving your office by telling you and Cody he could of bid it with those two items however it was not transferred over to the electrical print after we had inform You/Cody of our wishes regarding the coach lights and the jetted tub. We know we was undecided of the of the tub selection "After" the electrician had gave the bid to Angel for the work. Which means he would of bid those two items out from the start. From a customer's stand point we should not have to pay for your lack of detail. The totals are as followed: Add Jacuzzi after Sheetrock - 225.00 Add Coach Light 2@ 75.00 - 150.00 Total= $ 375.00 His Response: We are not paying for electrical upgrades. We toured many homes hoping to find the perfect floor plan for our forever home. We finally found "the one" and was told it was prepared by Blue Line Design. We were super excited to meet with them. We requested the same floor plan shrunk down to meet our lot specifications. So basically they already had the plans. We were happy to pay full price as they altered it to fit our space. Fast forward two years and we are finally ready to build. The plans looked great on paper but now that we're actually building the intense LACK of attention that went into the details on the plans is astonishing and disappointing. I mean literally no thought went into this.. just shrunk it down .. walls are going up and even the builder is questioning why we would have a one foot gap of wasted space between a wall and a fireplace. No ceiling fans in many rooms which means we pay to upgrade. Kitchen is ridiculously narrow and island should have been moved on plans. I know this company will say it's ultimately up to the customer to look over the plans. Ummm.. that's why we paid you over $2k because I'm not an architect. I would say that they are very lazy when it comes to true design and details. Unless you yourself are an architect and know how to read plans and catch details I would avoid this lazy company. read more
