The 2 newborn sessions couldn't have gone more differently if they tried and both times, Ann was great and the photos turned out beautiful. I trust her wholeheartedly with my newborns as she swaddles them and puts them in various positions. The 1 year cake smash session was so fun and Ann made everything so easy. She accommodated my color requests and decorated beautifully. I'm looking forward to the next cake smash session and I'm hoping to get Christmas pictures sometime in the next couple of years, too. The sessions are expensive but generally on par with photographers in the area. I don't mind paying for quality, though, and Ann is truly wonderful.

But because of the holidays (even though I contacted them months in advance) couldn't take me in right away until after the new year and by then, they aren't a newborn. My friend referred me to Ann Lyle and I am SOOO GLAD SHE DID. Despite being so close to Christmas, I contacted her anyway just to see and once she told me she had availability, I took it! She has a quick response time and pictures may take up to two weeks. She was able to get it to us sooner. The experience was awesome. She has a new studio in Framingham. There is plenty of parking spaces. The suite is on the L floor. The studio is so pretty! There are so many lovely props and backgrounds and it is so comfortable to not have to worry about anything. Ann is super down to earth and very relatable. From my experience of having many professional photographers from my engagement to wedding to family and to another newborn, Ann is the best! Her photos are so amazing and she made my newborn look like a beautiful princess. You will not regret it! Recently, I wanted to have a spotty iPhone picture blown up and made on a canvas... However, I knew it was a poor quality photo and I had low expectations on how well it would come out but, still, the photo was special to me and I wanted it to be the best that it could. At first, I did look around to see what places could do this for me but I wanted reassurance that I wasn't going to pay and arm and a leg for something that I was going to be disappointed with in the end.. That's when I reached out to Brianna and asked if she had done these kind of projects. She said that she could absolutely help me achieve this. Not once was I ever held back from expressing what I wanted, what I didn't want or like, she made me feel so comfortable to give her direction on what I was looking for. She did her research, gave me options of canvases with pricing and even went above and beyond to reach out to other photography professionals to see if they had any further recommendations to perfect this image for me. I really, really felt like I was being taken care of. After Brianna did her magic, I think she could sense the level of nervousness I had with the photo getting blown up and making it more pixel-ly, so we met up for coffee and she presented in a BEAUTIFUL natural and organic folder, a proof. A PROOF. I was not only incredibly happy that she had offered this (free of charge, usually $50 fee) to give me a sense of "this is what it will look like" and "this is what your paying for" reassurance, but it immediately brought me to tears because she did such an outstanding job. Not even a week later, Brianna and I met back up and she gifted me in a cute bag, a wrapped canvas of the very special photo of my Grandmother and I who had passed a year ago. I truly cannot recommend Brianna enough for really going above and beyond to make me feel like I was getting the best of the best. Without a doubt, Nancy captured the essence of our wedding day! She first came to our family home…read moreto shoot photos of me and my bridesmaids getting ready and then booked it to the church (an hour away) to get some candid shots of the groom and groomsmen before the ceremony. After the ceremony, we met up at a beautiful lookout point (at Nancy's great suggestion!) to do family and bridal party photos before heading to the beach and dock near our reception for more photos. She also photographed throughout our ceremony and reception. I mention all these different settings because in each one Nancy knew exactly how to go with the flow while still executing a well-thought out plan based on our phone conversations leading up to the Big Day. (We live in DC and had our wedding on Cape Cod so meeting in person was not possible due to distance, although Nancy offered!). Small things - now reviewing the photos - made all the difference: where to place bouquets (at the belly button!) and reminding us gently of good posture really brought our final photos to a whole new level of quality! Most importantly - and a huge reason I am recommending Nancy to future brides - I like to consider myself a low-maintenance bride and Nancy really respected this throughout the course of the day. I can honestly say that I did not see her during the ceremony - though she captured GREAT shots - and I hardly saw her during the reception. This was important to me as I have attended weddings that made me feel like I was being hounded by the paparazzi - and I was only a guest! Nancy maintained a respectful distance so the events of the day could unfold while still being in tune with all the special moments that make for great photography. Finally, Nancy puts all her energy and attention into making a bride and groom feel special. On Valentine's Day, she sent a treat to celebrate our upcoming nuptials and on the wedding day, she kindly showed us how to best cut the cake together to avoid a mess and ALWAYS remained focused on making sure my dress was not getting torn or dirty by our surroundings - think beach, sand.
