I loved relaxing here with co-workers in the evening, not to mention that view of the McKinney water tower from the patio at night cannot be beat. I highly recommend coming to see the unique artwork. My favorite piece was a large, canvas painting of "Woodstock '69," so as soon as I saw it, I had to take home the original before there were only prints available. The art is so affordable and better yet, when you purchase one you become an "artster," which comes with membership benefits. I can't wait for the next live music show and I am hoping to attend a paint party soon. I may even try to book this event space for my toddler's birthday party!

And unlike similar establishments, they take the time to help you one-on-one to create the best piece and experience possible. It's a great family friendly environment where you aren't limited to finishing your piece during a specific time or day. You can come back anytime you want until you're finished. They offer classes and camps over the summer and a ladies night on Thursdays. If you enjoy exploring your artistic side (even if you aren't very creative like yours truly) this is a fun way to feel like a Picasso and not have to paint by number. The ceramics selection is a bit smaller but they have plenty of fun things to choose from and if you ask, they may be able to order what you're looking for. Based on friendliness of staff and convenience, I'd much rather paint here than at Color Me Mine.

Anyhow! I was finally able to visit the store in-person and was pleasantly surprised by their incredible selection. They carry mainly romance, romantasy and fantasy books, but I ain't complaining since that's what I read. On the back of the store they have a private seating area that feels very speakeasy-type.
