Smooth check in, gorgeous, clean room, quiet, excellent bathroom & shower, very comfortable bed. Only two complaints (that aren't really complaints, just suggestions) are that the BW website is really hard to work with on mobile (Iphone) so I downloaded the app, which I hope will be an improvement. The only other thing is that many BWs have EV chargers and we really would find that helpful. We don't even mind paying a reasonable fee for the electricity. It is just a huge help to charge at our overnight stays.

The facility has a delightfully split personality, with rooms for both those seeking the Victorian / nostalgia / kitsch vibe and those simply after a tidy, quiet, comfortable place to sleep, clean up, and catch the news. I'm the latter sort, and the "old building" -- a renovated motel-style facility -- is a nice bargain. There's a decent diner-style restaurant (also indie, the Velvet Rose) about a block up the way, and a Pizza Hut across the street. I do suggest that you bring your own toiletries if you're particular -- they're provided, but Cashmere Bouquet isn't all that -- but otherwise I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by this friendly, unassuming facility.

The hotel is right next to pleasnty of restaurants and a Walmart as well as quick access to the highway. The parking lot is very well lit and safe feeling. Walking into the lobby was our first sign that we should have left immediately. The overwhelming odor was impossible to ignore and honestly made us gag. Unfortunately, because it was late and we were exhausted, we tried to make the best of it. We were traveling with two cats and specifically chose this hotel because it advertised itself as pet-friendly. Upon check-in, we were informed that they only have one room dedicated to cats, which is something that should be clearly disclosed before booking. That room, however, was in extremely poor condition. The smell in the room was just as bad as the lobby--strong, stale, and unbearable. We tried to tolerate it, but it quickly became too much. We went back to the front desk to ask for another room or a refund, and both were denied. The only solution offered was an air freshener, which did nothing to address the underlying issue. I have stayed at many hotels that allow cats, and there is no logical reason a room or lobby should smell this bad. Being pet-friendly does not mean sacrificing basic cleanliness. I would not stay here again and strongly recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you're traveling with pets or arriving late with limited options.

The bad, the mattress was super uncomfortable, the bed sheets and comforter were too small for the bed, and the view outside was a trailer park. This hotel is maybe worth 100 a night. It would be a great value for around 90. If this hotel was cheaper I would have given it a higher rating but the value isn't there right now.
